This is a re-review after having 100% completed the game. My opinion hasn’t changed, but I have more to say. My playtime has all been on steam deck and it runs perfectly with it. This game is a real hidden gem. It mixes puzzling elements with reactive gameplay well, and it manages to avoid frustration most of the time. There are a few levels that are more focused on the dodging gameplay, but they are few and far between and in my opinion don’t detract from the puzzle elements at all. The visuals aren’t anything to write home about, but they do a good job at expressing what is happening at a glance. There is one enemy late game that relies on visual obstruction, but it never requires you to memorize long sequences of actions while blind. The enemy variety is amazing. There are a total of 20 different enemies and they all behave DRASTICALLY different. The only thing I would want differently is for them to mix with each other more. No level has more than two enemy types, and different colors of enemies never mix which I found disappointing. However the dev did say they were working on this in a future update. unique puzzle game where before & after levels you get to read snippets of story about different people and the main megacorporations running this world, they both work together so well to keep me hooked like what do you mean this megacorp planned to make most the world uninhabitable through climate change so it could develop the solution and control the remaining population of just 1 billion? thats a sick intro context and i hope to see the story lead somewhere hype where these hackers really do take it all down and "reset" the world

An extremely cool and fast-paced puzzle game. There's lots of story here, too, for those who are interested. It's a very action-y puzzle game, where your timing and speed matter a lot. Would LOVE for this game to get leaderboard support - feels like it's perfect for speedrunning and competing with other people's times.

Still early-ish in the game, so will likely edit this review, but wanted to boost the numbers somewhat. The game's super minimalistic in presentation, but does a lot with what it has. The cyberpunk dystopia fits neatly with that, and the writing has kept my interest as well - it's your only reward for doing a perfect "ghost" run of a stage. As for the puzzles, they too are usually fairly minimalistic, quick to solve once you understand what you need to do (though there are exceptions, e.g. 207 took me 5 minutes and a lot of it is trivial fiddling around). Sometimes the fact that a ghost run is always possible is itself a clue that you are missing something, the game doesn't ask impossible feats from you. Overall, you have 125 clever, bite-sized puzzles in the game. Looking forward to going through the rest!

The Puzzle design and story are really neat. But the puzzles have a serious execution element, with multi part executions and usually pass-fail checks at every step where if you fail you, at minimum, miss out on half the story of the level. Overall I found that element fiddly and frustrating, but I would still recommend if you think you have greater patience or skill for it. Maybe I will go back and finish the game eventually for the story, but at 30+ tries, with tries taking just enough time to be really frustrating when you get dinged, I just don't want to waste my time banging my head against the wall when I figured out the solution 15 minutes ago and the only thing that is keeping me from the next puzzle is rote execution.

I still haven't played the game much, but I enjoyed the demo a lot. It's very stylish and varied.
