Obscurite Magie: The Blood of Kings

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this one. The story was better than some other reviews led me to expect. And the game as a whole is pretty darn fun. If you download the 18+ patch, there's battle H. It's decent, I suppose - not my favourite, but certainly not disappointing.

While it looks like a fun game to play and I personally like the look of the art the game's fps drops to 0 every 5-10 mins and nothing I've tried has been able to help. I can still hear the character walk around and the sfx of the menu opening and closing but the screen is stuck on her mid step. Sometimes this happens in a dialogue scene and its like my computer is frozen. Edit: After finally fixing the problem and rebooting my computer the game game now plays properly. Would recommend this game, though I'd advise to wait for a sale (short game play time for asking price).

It has great art, and decent scenes. The story itself isn't terribly interesting, and combat is pretty basic, but I'm not complaining. I purchased the game for the character design, and general aesthetic. It has been fun enough to justify the purchase.

As someone who owns a large portion of the Kagura Collection, I've gotta be honest. This game is just awful, awful if you've played enough HRPGs at least. It does nothing perfectly, the game takes less than two hours, two hours if you turn full combat on. It just doesn't do anything fully in any direction. The art is nice, but that's all it has going for it. The scenes are disappointing, the "combat" is disappointing, and the games length even more so. Wait for a sale, I wish I had waited for more than 20% off, pick it up when it eventually hits 60%

Short, but i had fun. Not too much text. A bit lackluster in the lewd progress, but as it was short, i didnt get bored. Also, defeat scenes unlock when beating the bosses.
