Very good at scaring you at night. While it can be dry sometimes it really feels like something is stalking you and the build up is great. 9/10 would def recommend!

This is a flawed but ambitious game, and I hope that the developers do not give up on it. The atmosphere is great. The visuals walk an interesting line between realism and stylisation, and there's some very unsettling sights and sounds. Despite it being a 'walking sim' there is some challenge, although a lack of real death (just getting sent back to the previous checkpoint) takes the sting out of it. The story is quite good, and the sparseness of clues as to what is happening is one of the game's great strengths. It makes the game feel quite Lovecraftian (if the vast ocean and indistinct monster didn't do that already). You're just dropped into a situation where you don't really understand anything and bleakness is the only realistic outlook. However the game has a lot of technical and mechanical shortcomings. While most people will likely intuit that wsad or arrow keys control movement, there is nothing that tells you this. When I first played the game, I was stuck on the starting raft and couldn't move outside of it. I restarted and then could swim through the water. Whenever there was an 'event' like an unusual horror sound, there would be a bit of lag. Many of the sound effect…

I appreciate its free and I really tried to play through this but I bailed and can't recommend it. it's a valiant attempt at an interesting premise but it just feels arbitrary, aimless, and like the dev had a neat idea and just had no clue what to do with it. As a more realistic grounded take on being in the situation for immersion sake it fails since it has a huge amount of unnatural things happening. as a psychological horror/study it has zero teeth and intrigue since there's little to no narrative to speak of let alone what is there has no bearing on anything you experience in game outside of it being nautical. But most of all it fails to be anything but a tedious slog because the game is literally push up and thats it with one or two notes to read with a few words apiece. the jump scares are loud and obnoxious, the swimming sound is entirely too repetitive and never changes and any other elements are too far to see or be threatening or imposing. i think i was legit at the last part of the last swim when a shark got me and i just didnt have the strength to try again even tho i was right there. i was THAT bored of holding up watching my guy go slowly towards some foggy indiscri…

This is a walking simulator in the worst kind of way, just walking around for 0 reason with 0 threats

This game didn't changed my life. Its a walking swimulator (get it haha) but nah not worth it, the jumscares are just crazy bad to a point they make u laugh. The plot is basically what I wanted to do after playing this. Btw if u still wanna play this your character walks faster sideways. 2/10
