About ODYSSEY: Starship Pinball
ENDLESS PINBALL MADNESS
Join the intrepid Starship captain, Wilbur, on their ridiculous journey through an infinite pinball-inspired world. Each room (or table) draws from classic pinball motifs (with targets, flippers, Multiball, and more) but this retro pinball gameplay has a twist… Every room connects to another, procedurally selected from over a dozen handcrafted levels, endlessly. Bump from room to room to play new tables in classic pinball style, unlocking new biomes and astronomical scores the higher you go – forever.
Inspired by pinball classics, like 3D Pinball: Space Cadet, plus the physics comedy of Getting Over It, ODYSSEY: Starship Pinball is a next-generation take on the endless arcade format with a roguelite twist.
BUMP ANYWHERE
Flippers aren’t the only way to get around; you can manually bump the ship to thrust Wilbur in any direction and reach new heights. As you explore, you’ll unlock new plunger checkpoints (in case dear Wilbur is lost) for a new intrepid Starship captain to continue the odyssey.ZANY PHYSICS
As Wilbur hits targets and bumps into walls, their ship takes damage. Inevitably, the ship explodes, setting Wilbur free to tumble through the world, equal parts pinball astronaut and floppy little guyNOW WITH IDLE MODE
Kick your feet up with Idle Mode and let Wilbur take over, activating flippers, bumping away from peril, and adventuring higher automatically. And if an emergency requires a manual override, you always have control even while Idle Mode is active. Finally, you can rocket your score while working on spreadsheets and scrolling TikTok.What Steam players say

Players praise this pinball game for its charming indie style, satisfying physics and sound design, and creative level progression across different themed environments. The addition of idle mode, physics variants, and exploration elements between pinball boards are frequently highlighted as refreshing takes on the classic formula. A few players mention occasional pacing issues and note that the game feels quite different from traditional pinball, though most find this novelty appealing rather than problematic.
If you're like me and you remember playing the free pinball game on Windows when you were growing up, this is a really fun way to go back in time with a classic game, but to bring it into the future with some great updates. I really like that if I get stuck, I can switch on idle mode and just watch it go for a while until I feel like jumping back in.4 found this helpful

Stylish and fresh feeling Pinball game with a zany indie charm. Plenty of cool visual environments paired with crisp, satisfying sound effects and a frankly banger soundtrack have me continually excited to traverse new levels. The game experience is also broadened by procedural generation and some cool auxiliary features like different physics modes and an idle mode that is entertaining even if it consistently humbles my performances. Starship Pinball scratches that kinetic, arcade gaming itch and has seen updates coming with good cadence. Overall, totally worth your coin. On a personal note I would take this opportunity to apologize to Wilbur for always breaking his orb and making him rawdog the vacuum of space and all of it's debris. He's a real one2 found this helpful
If I hadnt been gifted this, I would definitely have bought it. I had a lot of fun. I wasn't really sure what I was expecting from a pinball game, but the puzzle solving, dungeon crawling back and forth between scenes of each new biome was fun. I loved the spaceship cracking and breaking and then just flinging my little astronaut around lol Once I figured out how to use the bump mechanic and control the ball well, going between rooms was a lot easier and finding the keys and figuring out what room had the locked gate was awesome. Loved the music and the different biomes for the maps, the cloud district was cute.2 found this helpful
Really solid game for the price. It isn't exactly classic pinball (but it definitely feels a lot more like it when you have classic mode on!) but getting to go between the different boards and areas is awesome - I really like the way city looks and that you're in different starting rooms and stuff. Also, having idle on and playing at the same time is helpful and feels like a good training wheels kind of thing. The best though is when he breaks out and can be wacked in floppy mode2 found this helpful
