Reviewed using HTC Vive Pro and 1.0 Controllers
🎃 Tя!cked not Tяeated 🎃 $9.99 needs to be alot more work done here to justify this price❗ Locomotion controls are vary strange you squeeze Vive Grips and then swing your Vive Controls up and down. That feels awkward and I have small hands so Vive Grips are a problem for me to maintain squeeze for vary long. Weapon Pick up you use the touch pad again that feels awkward. I can't think of many others Devs use touch pad this way. I noticed the sword had Haptic Feedback when I swing not aiming at the ememy just in front of me. Doesn't wait for me to make contact also super weird feeling. Enemys move off angle hey don't come straight at you. They seem to cross in front then sharp turn left into you. Like Nascar making left turns all day long, not natural looking. I do like the concept and art style you have to far❗
Your Goals below sound great to me!
"How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?" “We plan to add in full version: -Multiplayer and Co-op -DeathMatch -Team Deatmatch -Сastle siege -Character Customization”
I hope you can pull all this off in 6 months stated!
…
NO, Just NO
Too many bugs and not worth anywhere near the asking price. Gameplay Vid: https://youtu.be/g74OXZaJMcE Pros: The sword slicing of the enemies Cons: Everything else in this half finished game. Highlights: The puff of what looks like blood from someone who is having a heavy period. Played on a Vive 6600K OC 4.3 16 GB Ram GTX 1080

Painfully floaty and fairly broken, OniBushi VR is a wave shooter where you're a samurai, ninja or archer as you fight off floppy enemies. The controls are a little weird and actions like drawing an arrow from your quiver aren't mapped very well; it takes multiple tries to draw an arrow which makes the mechanic essentially unplayable. Melee is rather straight forward, but uninteresting. Enemies are cut in half and become noodle-y in a slash, which isn't entertaining for very long. There's not much swordplay to speak of, at least when playing with the intent of having a sword fight. Enemies are rather simplistic and don't really employ tactics that deviate from rushing straight at you once they enter the courtyard. Movement is something like GORN but a little more sloppy, which doesn't really help the situation at all. Could be good once they add some love to it (and add some features from the list they've posted for their early access goals), but for now it's not worth the asking price. Full disclosure: This game was sent to me for review. I don't get paid for reviews. I'm just a curator who is very passionate about VR and gaming in general. OniBushi VR is pretty terrible, but it's in Early Access, so I will give it more time to develop. The difficult part of this review is the developer asked me to play it right now, in its unfinished state, rather than waiting for it to be polished a lot more. If your game isn't close to playable, don't go around giving out review copies. It won't benefit you. Anyway, Onibushi VR is another of many sword-fighting VR titles being released into Early Access. I hope this one develops into something truly marvelous, though. I could see the potential in this game from its concept, but it needs a ton of work.

somewhat cool game for about 10 minutes. the lack of updates and content to the game have made it to bland, it seams this game has been abandoned by the devs. R.I.P

I like the concept and the aesthetic but everything else is lacking about this title. This game is worth like 2-3$ at it's current state and is a repetitive wave fighter with very little diversity. BUT the roadmap has great potential so I will be giving this a positive review in hope of future content! I made a quick video of me playing this game and showing off it's mechanics here : https://youtu.be/n93RtAqwKNM
