Oops, I Said Yes?!

Honestly, OISY is one of the most interesting title on voltage inc ever. I really enjoy Shu's route a lot and tbh, he is the first ever character that I binge read from his main story 1 to the end , which is the epilogue. Normally, I would read each and every character's main story 1 first before reading the next chapter (for Voltage). Well, his looks and the way they introduce him on the opening alrd attracted me a lot, and he is [b]not surprisingly[/b] sweet, cute, and funny. [strike] kinda guessed that [/strike] He is actually a really hardcored otaku while he pretends not to be one in the office, he is known as the best, princely salesman, and lots of female somehow had a crush on him. And, he is also actually secretly socially awkward, but he doesn't show to his coworkers. He get pretty jealous easily, and he honestly was upset that the MC was using her real name in an otome game that she is playing. So, the MC changed her real name to a fake name "The Hasu". It really got to him that the creator of the otome game is actually the MC's ex boyfriend, and the route that she is playing is actually based on her real life experienced with her ex, and the love interest also ha…

Okay, this is going to be a long review so buckle up y'all (minor spoilers so beware, please ignore grammatical mistakes :) I would first like to say that I have never played a Voltage title previously (I have played other otome). So, Please keep this in mind (Is anyone even going to read this?) Talking about the story, I like how it was slice-of-life type and the synopsis is quite simple. The music is fun to jam to. The background CG's could definitely use some work, but they didn't annoy me as much as I thought they would. I got this game on sale because I thought the regular price was too expensive, but playtime is a lot so it was pretty worth it. There are five guys you can romance. Here's the order I went with it. Ukyo: - Spur of the moment/YOLO vibes - Crazy rich - Major plotline is unsupportive family, which was executed poorly, mainly due to the lack of appearance of said family (beside gramps) - Also, come on, what type of grandfather talk to his almost 40 year old grandson like that?? - Much potential to expand on plot/past drama, but was wasted - Felt like his story more than his and MC's story - Rating = 6/10 Kunihiro: - vanilla romance - lazy, rich man who lite…

This visual novel is really worth the price. Aside from different love interests, the story itself is refreshing and long enough to be worth the price.

Voltage games have been my guilty pleasure back when I was a teenager, so I've been binging them whenever they go on sale. With that said, this one was surprisingly... okay. Heroine has some spine, personality and a face this time, and it was fun to see an architect heroine in a Voltage setting. Poster guy is Kunihiro, but I honestly didn't like him and Senkawa that much. Takao was a delight to read, though the cube as the only thing he does besides being a family guy was a disappointment, and he definitely would've been my favorite if not for that. Hasunuma felt really good to know throughout the story. with pretty realistic woes and anxieties, though he felt a little too much like my best male friends, oof. The game references on his route were very welcome, though, since Tokimeki Memorial got me into taking Japanese seriously more than 10 years ago and I kept wondering if the architect heroine was a model student like Shiori, someone who kept getting models done with junk parts like Yuina, or a complete bookworm like Mio (and Hasunuma, and definitely me as well).
