Optimum Link, developed and published by Protoria Studios, is an experimental sandbox experience that resists nearly every convention associated with traditional game design. Rather than presenting players with objectives, progression systems, or even a clear sense of purpose, it drops them into a strange, open-ended environment and invites them to simply interact with what’s there. This immediately sets the tone for what the game is trying to be: not a structured experience, but a digital space for curiosity, improvisation, and moment-to-moment experimentation. From the outset, the absence of direction is both its defining trait and its biggest hurdle. There are no tutorials guiding the player toward a goal, no missions to complete, and no overarching narrative to follow. Instead, players are given access to a variety of tools and mechanics that allow them to manipulate the environment, spawn objects, and experiment with different interactions. This freedom can feel refreshing, especially for those who enjoy exploring systems without restrictions. Графика простая, но стильная, а музыка добавляет атмосферы. Плюс — лаконичность и интуитивное управление. Минус — быстрое насыщение из-за повторяющегося формата. Подойдёт тем, кто любит логические задачи без излишеств.

It's a gorgeous game with a fantastically eerie feeling to it. It's worth taking a look at, and spending some time in there.

"Optimum Link" is not a game. Games contain meaningful gamelike interaction and game loops, which are absent in this "art experience". Instead of being a game, "Optimum Link" is a software application that presents a poorly made art exhibition. This is a garbage art exhibition "experience" where you wander around a few environments made out of flipped Unreal Marketplace assets. Why can't Steam Direct get some QA? It's getting a bit ridiculous the amount of non-game junk infesting the place. Game developers, real ones who make real games, have to compete with this crap. It's harmful. We get this non-game shovelware on Steam whenever your usual Starbucks barista/McDonalds frycook art school dropout finally gets a restraining order from the local art galleries so turns to Steam Direct to try get their art published somewhere so they can finally dream of moving out of their parents basement. It's true that games can be art... art is where the pinnacles of craftsmanship and quality meet vision and narrative to create an experience far greater than the sum of the parts.
