This game is quite impressive: The worst graphics on Steam ever; The worst trailer on Steam ever; The worst controls on Steam ever; The worst menu on Steam ever; The worst level design on Steam ever; The worst asset flip on Steam ever. After collecting orbs you just start over like nothing happened, so I'd also say the laziest game on Steam ever. I'd give a positive review though if the developer at least tried to make a proper game, but it's abandoned (last update was 16 months ago) =/

Orbitron is a compact science-fiction action and strategy game that embraces the straightforward design philosophy of classic arcade experiences. Developed by Shawn Colbert under Colbert A Vision, with the Steam listing showing no separate publisher, the game places players in control of a robot named Orbitron on a mission with surprisingly high stakes. Earth has depleted its available energy, leaving humanity dependent on Orbitron to travel into space and recover special power orbs. Although the narrative is simple and primarily exists to establish the objective, it gives some context to what would otherwise be a purely mechanical collection and obstacle-avoidance challenge. The central gameplay concept is immediately understandable. Orbitron must travel along a hazardous course, collect the required power orbs, avoid deadly threats, and eventually reach the destination. Movement is intentionally uncomplicated, with the arrow keys handling navigation and the Shift key allowing Orbitron to sprint.
