I absolutely adore this game, it's not only cute af but also interesting and creative, I've been playing every day since my vacation and it took me a while to figure out the mechanics but it's one of my favorites!!! I recommend not only for fans of creative games but also for people who can get overwhelmed by elaborate visuals and colors like I often do. Thank you :)

"Tiny Pixel Planets" is at first glance yet another pixelcrap platformer on Steam, but that's not the case at all. I was really impressed by the scope of the game... think a kind of sci-fi Terraria but with space travel and no content (everything is procgen). But this is balanced by a comprehensive crafting and terrain system. Just as I was impressed by the scope, I was predictably disappointed by the incredibly weak technical implementation... it's clunky, unintuitive, and wow, the graphics are an eyesore. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. Gaming is a visual medium, and despite the amazing premise for the game, the developer failing to deliver quality visuals was what prevented this from success. Now on to pricing and valu…

Nice concept, unfortunately completely broken game. Tutorial popups can't be closed if there's no ok button and block clicking fly off button, key (F) for which doesn't do anything. runs so far: - start, told to pickaxe a tree, all items including trees don't react to the pickaxe, end up at the right side of the world and unable to jump back out from the pond. - start, world hurts you, can't fly off, can't pickaxe tree, die repeatedly - start, rock world, nothing to pickaxe except stone blocks, multiple angry boulders spawn, die repeatedly only conclusion is that this is a troll game and should be avoided.
