it's okay but i only put a good review because it made me remember a game i really love in PS monster madness game (:

"OutRoad Fury" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from Objectif3D. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students made an almost passable thematic ripoff of Brutal Legend (starting TV's "Jack Black") where once more you use a musical instrument to do some consolesque brawling... this lacks a lot of the cooler metal elements that carried Brutal Legend beyond the mediocre console peasant gameplay, unfortunately. OutRoad Fury delivers a loud and deliberately chaotic take on the action roguelite formula, wrapping fast-paced combat in a world inspired by heavy metal, demons, improvised weapons, and dark humor. Developed and published by Objectif 3D, the game follows Leina, a metal singer caught in the aftermath of a demonic pact. Her journey through Toxi City revolves around recovering part of her instrument while dealing with the supernatural disaster surrounding her. The premise immediately establishes the game's personality, favoring exaggerated action and comedy over a serious narrative. Combat is where the experience makes its strongest impression. Leina can pick up an assortment of weapons that includes guitars, sledgehammers, and even ridiculous everyday objects such as traffic cones. Different weapons encourage slightly different approaches, making each run partly about adapting to whatever equipment becomes available. There is an entertaining sense of improvisation to the fighting because success does not simply depend on obtaining one ideal weapon and repeating the same strategy.
