oVRshot is a VR action game built around something I do not see all that often, using a bow as my main weapon in a fast arena shooter. I am thrown into matches with a bow, different abilities and a jetpack style movement system, then I have to move around the arena and land shots while trying to stay alive. The game supports 3 versus 3 battles, free for all, and fighting against AI, so there is more to it than just one basic mode. I like the idea because shooting a bow in VR feels much more physical than simply aiming a normal gun. The bow physics are easily the best part for me. I actually have to draw the bow, aim properly and release the arrow instead of relying on normal shooter controls. When I land a good shot while moving around the arena, it feels much more satisfying than a normal hit from a traditional FPS. The movement also gives me plenty to think about because I can use three different locomotion options, along with grapples and double jumps. That makes the arenas much more vertical and active than they would be if I was simply walking around with a bow. I also like the abilities because they give the combat more variety. Not a whole lot of people still playing but if you can get a few friends to play you can have a blast. Also this game runs on anything, I managed to get it running on a 3GB GTX970, a Intel Core i5-4460 and 8GB Ram and still got between 55-70fps. Absolute blast.

Графика качественная, а сюжет — минимальный, сосредоточенный на действиях. Плюс: интересный геймплей, возможность экспериментировать с камерой. Минус: короткая кампания, слабая оптимизация для некоторых VR-устройств. Подойдет любителям нестандартных механик и VR-экспериментов.

An absolute blast for VR archery fans! Fast-paced 3v3 battles with great bow physics and fun mobility options like grappling hooks. The cosmetic system and crossplay are fantastic bonuses. Highly addictive.
