Players explore a blue space that is both beautiful and terrifying, looking for ways to survive.
Sometimes you'll have to solve puzzles to clear your way, and sometimes you'll have to fight creepy creatures.

Nice atmosphere. Good job capturing the pool rooms vibe on the first level. Unfortunately, that's as far as I went, seeing as you're forced to play through "level 1 expanded" immediately after getting through it the first time. And as far as I can tell, it's pretty much the same pool rooms environment with the same enemies. What exactly makes it "expanded", I'm not sure. Getting through it once was enough for me and I really didn't feel like playing through it again to find out. Not that it was bad, necessarily, but imagine spending 45 minutes or so to progress through the first level of ANY game, and then being told that you have to do it again just to see what level 2 looks like. Fairly baffling decision. GAMEPLAY: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGC4XRQlNBg

Preambule: the game is pretty good for what it is, I'd say *it's worth the money* HOWEVER there is a lot of stuff to work through and change as well, that's why I leave a *bad review*. If you're reading this and you don't mind spending *how little* the game costs it will occupy you for 2 or 3 hours if you're into liminal space. Interesting liminal space horror game that does some things right and some wrong. One thing I really dislike is that the game starts off immediately with 2 jumpscares almost back to back, but why I dislike this is because they actually weren't present there during the 2025 February Next Fest demo. I'm not sure why they were added because the game already does a good job setting the mood so ruining it by adding jumpscares right off the bat that are not needed is weird. Another issue is that the game starts you off playing the pools level and once you finish it it then locks all other levels behind replaying the "Expanded" pools level. To be completely fair the Expanded Chapter 1 (how it's called) is way cooler than the normal version, it actually captures the liminal space feel of the poolrooms/backrooms (the next stage is quite literally the backrooms). I w…

play as an anime girl and escape the backrooms, survive with food and water ammo is low puzzles are easy keypads are tiny. use your weapon to attack enemies they are really gross .overall experience was great 10/10. not too buggy in early access maybe 1 game crash but game is easy and fun to learn.

This may be one of the greatest Pool/Backroom type of game: it has weapons. U can fight the enemies and kill all but one. I'm not a fan of running away from enemies. U can even play in 1st person or 3rd person. But all is not good, as there are survival mechanics, the dreadful thirst and hunger. I beat the first two levels, the ones available at the time of my review. There are 2 other, one that is mostly in the dark and it starts with an invincible enemy following u the entire way. Make the hunger/thirst and the invincible enemy optional, and this is a great game.

I forgot to drop a review earlier but while this game is still in early access, it's fun and I believe in its potential. It needs quite a bit of polishing but considering the price of the game, I think it's a good deal. And the developer pays attention to feedback.
