Bought it for a multi-player games night. It's not just Pong/Arkanoid. There's a Move or Die style game rotation, so a single skilled player won't dominate every round. The graphics are dead simple, but there's no mistaking which paddle is yours. It can be appropriately frustrating at times with enough chaos to keep things balanced. To the developer: please update the key bindings. A couple of the buttons are too easy to press during the game, which skips forward a round or exits to the menu. Update: after playing with friends, I have to change this review to a negative. The game modes were too frustrating to everyone -- too many different objectives. Some modes were frustrating and ended before the objective was evident, while others, like the maze levels, were annoying to complete. If you could remove certain levels from the playlist, that might solve the issue.5 found this helpful
I got a key from the developer, so I didn't pay any money for it. The game is exactly what it looks like. AS OF NOW (!) there are only a few levels/game modes. When I have friends over I can just hand them the controller and let them play and it's fun for half an hour but that's it. You won't play it night after night, but you might throw in a round if you want something to do while you're waiting for your pizza to be delivered. Conclusion: Quick and easy to pick up. Quick and easy to be done with (for the moment).2 found this helpful
Pros: Easy to pick up Fast gameplay Fun Simple mechanics All ages Cons: Repetitive music (but we're told that new music is being worked on) Could use some more levels
To be honest this was a blast for me and 2 friends of mine. We had a lot of fun for about 1h. Sadly no longer because there is just very little content. Its simmilar to "Stickfighter the game" but with paddles. Some game rounds require you to paddle balls to a goal or to defend your own goal. Some to dodge fireballs and some to just not get pushed out of the screen. It was fun to troll your friends and block their path/push their ball back. Rounds are fairly short and fast paste. If only there would be more content and more variety in levels. Fun with friends!
As an old arkanoid and pong fan this is hilarious. Great fun, easy to play and hard to master.
Great game, unique concept and definetely reccomended. I believe the fact the all people are familiar with the pad game(whatever it was called) makes this game easy to catch on and enjoy. Friends loved it. Price is incredibly good too no needt to wait for sales
