Pawsome Resort

This is the most relaxing game I've played since Stardew Valley. It's definitely worth the $5 price tag; I recommend trying it. If you liked Stardew Valley, it offers a similarly relaxing experience, though not exactly the same.

I would like to change my review to positive in the future because I really had high hopes for this game. I understand that it's still in a very early stage and there are thousands of things that will change soon. I want to leave my review for the developers : - The pace of the game is overwhelming; there's no time to deal with the resort's animals, explore, buy food, or get to know the characters. - The mushroom monsters you rescue to help you at the resort do their job very poorly (slow and clumsy). And rather than helping, they leave everything half-finished, so you end up having to do the work yourself if you want to provide good customer service. - It's not at all clear how to get married, or when or how to proceed. The dialogues are very repetitive, and sometimes the characters seem to want nothing to do with your existence except during very specific times. - There are tons of bugs. The character gets stuck a lot, both with the tractor and the boat, and walks ridiculously slowly without any vehicle... - The cutscenes feel completely empty and cheap. There's hardly any context, conversation, or anything interesting to make you want to investigate further or want more of …

This a good mixture of similar games (e.g. Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and Traveller's Rest). Although it offers also something own and unique, which gives its an own eccentric feeling, something different to do and relaxing atmosphere - it stands out as an it's own style of a "cozy game". This is recommended and can't wait what the developer will invent more!

While I can definitely see how some could view this game as "lazy," I honestly still enjoy it regardless of that. The art style is cute, it scratches the itch for wanting to play something similar to Stardew, and it is a great time killer if you want to keep yourself busy. I really enjoy that your stamina is not as sensitive when cutting trees and mining, and I don't seem to have any issues with getting things done before dark. That could change since I am still early into the gameplay, but nonetheless I have no firm complaints. I believe this game is very promising considering it is early access, I have seen people give some good suggestions so far, but I do not think the game is "bad" whatsoever.

I absolutely love playing Pawsome Resort, it is such a charming and addictive experience. The overall gameplay loop is genuinely great and keeps me hooked for hours, but there are definitely a few rough edges that, if polished, would take this game to the next level. The biggest issue I keep running into is the animal identification system. It gets really buggy when you try to pick them up to return them to their owners, which is incredibly frustrating in the middle of a busy shift. Honestly, it would be a huge quality-of-life improvement if we could just hover the mouse over the pets to see their names instantly. Also, the lack of visual variety for the cats makes things even more difficult. Since most of them look so similar, it becomes a guessing game to figure out which pet belongs to which guest. Adding some variety in their fur patterns or colors would solve this immediately. Beyond the mechanics, I would love to see more customization options. Being able to change our character and modify their appearance would add so much personality to the game. The current furniture and decoration options for the resort feel a bit lackluster too, and I really hope the developers expan…

Overall a great game, cute animals, nice pixel art, good gameplay. Only problem I could think of is it seems to be not enough time in a game day to stuff.
