Based on a consumer perspective focusing on content, in my opinion, the cons outweigh the pros. Navigating to reach certain in-game outcomes can be disproportionately rigid, even on the "easy" difficulty setting. There is little, and sometimes no room for error in what the developers have coded to reach these outcomes, instilling the notion that the development team prioritizes dictating your in-game decisions (no pun intended based on the game's story narrative) rather than offering freedom of flexibility to reach said outcomes (no pun intended once again). Furthermore, certain online forums have stated that the development team aren't as aware compared to other studios on how to reach certain in-game outcomes that they coded into their project, leaving vague and limited information available on how to navigate to outcomes of your choosing. From this perspective, I'll conclude that this product does need certain quality of life improvements and better play testing before their developers finish and release their projects, with the current state of this project's re-playability relying upon low levels of transparency in the game's coding logic rather than rewarding individual playe…

One of the best indie games about politics. It's closer to classic text adventure games than to Paradox's HoI or EU series, but still is very good. It has realy developed lore of the in game universe and there is a lot to do. Even after playing it for 130 hours I still discover something new. Even when you fail at something, you discover a new ending and the other way in which the story unfolds. You choose how story of Anton and his country will unfold. Whether he shall become democratic reformer, dictator, ally of rich oligarchs or leftist populist-revolutionary: the choice is completly up to you, The base game is the essence of Suzerain, but Rizia DLC keeps high level of quality and even adds some improvements (like brand new war system). Also leading monarchy is different than republic in the base game and gives you new opportunities to utilize your power and new problems that you need to deal with. Although, after the new patch economy seems to be bit harder, but it is nothing that a good guide cannot fix, In the end, I think it's the only game where (in both base and DLC) you can show fat middle finger to the Queen of your dear hated neighbour Rumburg (and get achivement f…
