About Pegasus: Broken Wings
✦ AI summary
Navigate a politically corrupt cyberpunk city as the stranded Pegasus-5 crew, making tough choices amid terrorist attacks, mercenary intrigue, and a mysterious hacker's demands. Build trust and romance with your allies while your decisions shape branching storylines and multiple endings across this narrative-driven sequel.
Synopsis:
A month has passed since the events of the first game. Pegasus-5 crew now find themselves on planet Talann. What was planned as a temporary overnight stay turned into something more. After a terrorist attack in the city, the government had suspended all traffic in and out of the country and put more police on the streets in order to catch those responsible. The Pegasus-5 crew now find themselves stuck in an unfamiliar city and gradually drawn into dangerous events occurring in the city. With stakes increasing each day and inaction becoming less of an option, between pressure from a mysterious hacker, increased security on the streets, and mercenary groups trying to achieve their own goals, Edan and his allies have to get involved and start making choices.

i don't know where to start...the story felt off. if you played the first one its short, but fun. PBW didn't carryover any of the choices from the first like snares of ruin did with the second part. I played the first one so many times just to get different endings & had fun doing it. with PBW i don't feel like I need a second play through. The only carryover you get is a relationship & what you did with the bad guy from the first, but nothing on what of might have happened to the crew from the first game. I don't know how i can put this any other way... it felt like it had less life in it from the first. the song is a mix at best don't care for the singer. the art work is a nice update not that the old art work was bad either. the story felt week & too short to split between two different characters. I missed the first games point system & the vending machine. Believe it or not I clicked on each one I came across for nostalgic purposes hoping one of them would dispense a drink :). Also why even keep a point tally if you never were meant to get more points? was there more to this story that got cut out? I'll continue to support theses games just hope the writing is better on the ne…8 found this helpful
RPG Maker strikes again! Pegasus: Broken Wings is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. Unlike most RPG Maker games, instead of asset flipping the usual Final Fantasy ripoff tilesets for this high school anime club fan fiction, they've instead asset flipped the sci-fi "cyberpunk" tilesets and assets. What a time to be alive... but wait, there's more, the developer threw in a few static images rendered using the same low quality modelling app that gets used to make all those cheap nasty porno games glutting the rear end of the Steam Marketplace (check out the DailyIndieGame/exosyphen hentai games to see the exact same "art", or better yet, don't). There's a pretty awful fanfiction with a cyberpunk theme as you solve crime, fight the bad guys and try to date the developers various fanfiction waifus. As with all RPG Ma…6 found this helpful
I'e played the other games by this dev like Pegasus and Snares of Ruin and liked them, but this was a massive disappointment. I feel like the entire development time went into the art, as the rest of the game is awful. The plot is all over the place, and unlike their other games what skills you pick at start is it. You never learn any new skills or improve. Though it hardly matters as you will use your skills like 4 times max all game anyways. Hopefully going forward the dev focuses on making a good game like their earlier ones and not put all the effort and work into the art for the cutsenes, as when you do that all you end up with is a shiny turd in the end.4 found this helpful
An enjoyable follow up game to Pegasus-5 Gone Astray with improved graphics.
Visual scifi novel story with romancing options - For those cold winter nights. Enjoyable!
