A spaceship full of millennials. I would give it a neutral rating if there were one. A lot of effort was put into the game, but I didn't enjoy it. + Core characters have interesting stories that could have been expanded. Some, like Vexx, could've been a centerpiece. Instead, we get flashbacks and exposition through dialogues.  + Those romances I've tried are rather wholesome, which is a plus for me -- I dislike sadistic and cruel characters.  + The story is mildly entertaining. There are some interesting ideas thrown into the mix. + I liked the soundtrack.  - MC is a millennial woman. It is possible to pick stoic options in dialogues, but in-between those options the MC is digging her fingernails into her shaking palms, losing balance, tearing up and swooning. Her toes curl from pleasure, and mine -- from the pain of reading it. MC puts a lot of her own values and opinions into things too, irrespective of the choices. This was the reason I stopped playing. - Other characters have their overly emotional moments too. Tears are flowing freely in this universe, and there is some therapy talk crammed into dialogues. This game is so well written, and all of the characters are intriguing and unique. A6 does a good job of weaving a bunch of plotlines together into a story with a lot of depth. Your choices matter, but it's hard to "mess up" a scene or interaction based on what you choose. And there are distinct personality types you can play as; there are 2 times you choose major traits for your characters, with 3 options each time, so you can replay a ton to see all of the different pairings. This game is so much fun, and you really get immersed in it.

The scream I scrumpt when I got to the end of Episode 9 and realized the game wasn't completed was loud lmao. It sucked me in entirely to the point I was on the edge of my seat looking forward to the next scene. I am enjoying how it seems that, while they started out sheltered and semi-naive (reasonably so), the MC is slowly being allowed to take more serious choices that will have consequences down the road. Defining the personality beyond not knowing what to do and being unsure is gonna be fun. It's a superb VN that leans heavily into the tropes of found family and finding one's place in the world. The romance (And I admittedly have only done Ryona's route) is compelling and very sweet. If those things aren't what you're into, you might not like it. HEAR ME OUT...ヾ(•ω•`)o This game took me totally by surprise... I stumbled upon it, VERY randomly, and didn´t know what to expect. I wasn´t even looking for a romance Game, a that time.. If I`m being honest, my expectations were a tad low. BUT hells, was I wrong. And I absolutely love it and am currently absorbing it!!! 〒▽〒 The way it is written is so captivating, I´m absolutely swallowed by the narrative, it had me addicted since Chapter One. The Story alone is so gripping and just feels so well thought through, it start´s good and gets even better the further I get. And don´t let me start complimenting on the Characters! Everyone I got aquainted with feels very well/ deeply written. Each with their individual burden and mysteries enclouding them. I am deeply intrigued by each of them, when we interact. The more you get to know them, the harder it get´s to choose, or at least to stay on track for one Option staight. I constantly fight with myself staying straight on one Route while having to choose between Dialogue-Paths. I´m already planning which Character to experience the Story romantically with next! I rarely play unfinished games because I just I don't have the patience; so when I tried the demo for A6 I figured I'd get a feel for it, add it to my wishlist if it intrigued me enough and forget about it for a few months. Reader, that is NOT what happened. I was so immediately hooked by the complex characters, beautiful background art and rich worldbuilding that as soon as finished the demo I bought the game. It's going to be agony waiting for the next chapter. However, I'm so glad I found this gem of a game that I can't really complain - waiting for more of something you love is a wonderful problem to have.

I played chapters 1-8 on Itch a year an a half ago and have been watching game updates ever since. I couldnt wait any longer and bought it here on steam, I just played through chapter 9 and it was fantastic. Im so excited for the finale... TEAM RYONA FOR LIFEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
