Perfect Dice

[b]KAMGUSTA'S MINI REVIEW[/b] I have been tricked into buying this game, thinking it was a battle RPG based on cards and randomized dice outcomes. So, some light fun. Instead, the game starts by slapping dozens of "challenges" (a tutorial) in your face, which are puzzles to solve, of increasing difficulty. You'll find dice are used to trigger confusing cards (skills) in ways I still don't understand after hours of playing, with their outcomes not being very relevant. I questioned my IQ, then I read the other reviews and I felt relieved it wasn't a problem of mine. After this, I think the same developer questioned himself, as he released an idle game about a lonely nerd. I can sum everything up as: [b]W. T. Pros: - Extremely intricate deckbuilding with a very high skill ceiling - Puzzles to teach you important strategies and give you brain scratching challenges - Solid random events to spice up runs - Enemy variety is good with some enemies requiring completely different strategies to beat Cons: - Very high difficulty even if you're familiar with dice/deckbuilding games - Some enemies are kinda unbeatable depending on what your deck does (one elite copies your energy at the end of your turn making builds reliant on buffing their own energy or decreasing their opponents energy inevitably take a lot of damage or straight up die) - Steep learning curve: there's no easy mode or simpler class

+Functional aesthetics +Feels semi-polished -Plays like a puzzle -Feels like a chore to play. This isn't for me. I could not find the fun at all. I would never recommend the game for myself so I won't do it to you either.

The game is too random for its own good. I get thats the whole point of the story "chaos" and all that but it doesn't really mesh well. In order to use your cards you have to roll a die and if you roll one of your hit numbers your card works. Unlike most deck builder dice games you know what the number is at the beginning of the round, here you commit a dice to a card and if it doesn't hit that cards doesn't do anything for the round. At the beginning of the round you'll be told number 1 through 5 will hit. Say you play a dice on a card and you roll a 5. That card will work but now only numbers 1-4 will work for future cards. That doesn't sound so bad but the game is balance around you consistently rolling 3 success in a row to active you energy lock ability which brings the next big issue. The biggest problem is to do anything meaningful you have to boost your energy. Attack damage and blocking are all based on your energy level. If you don't boost your energy you'll end up doing 5 damage to enemy that has 100 health. You also get about 1 to 3 attacks a round. The issue is you energy level returns to normal every turn unless you can get 3 successful rolls in a row. It feel…
