Perihelion: Rogue Orbit is a tactical 2D space combat roguelite about building a ship, reading the battlefield, and surviving hostile missions where movement matters as much as firepower.Build a ship, take it into hostile sectors, and survive a chain of short combat encounters.Combat is built around range, angle, and tracking. The line you take into a fight changes how exposed you are, how well enemies can track you, and whether your own weapons can stay on target.Good flying means reading those relationships quickly. Knowing when to hold range, when to cut across an approach, and when to commit is the all that stands between you and the abyss.Do you burn away before you get pinned? Break across their path? Commit to a kill and risk taking too much damage? The right fit helps, but the right position keeps you alive.Runs are built to be short, usually around 20 minutes, with reshuffled arenas and encounters each time.
