A very short game with almost no exploration, two simple puzzles, noticeable technical issues, and minimal challenge or variety, best picked up at a discount. There isn’t much of an introduction to who you are, so you’ll need to check the game’s Steam page to learn that you play as David, a woodcutter living alone after the death of his wife several years ago. The story begins on an ordinary day as you go about simple chores around your small house in the wilderness. Suddenly, someone steals your rifle and uses it to take his own life. You drive into town to speak with the sheriff, who informs you that the dead man was a journalist. It quickly becomes clear that the sheriff is unwilling to help and even suggests that you stay out of the matter. Something is obviously wrong, possibly connected to a series of recent disappearances. The town is small and styled like the Wild West, with a single main street and a handful of buildings on either side, including a convenience store, the sheriff’s office, and a saloon. Short game. Graphics are fine. Puzzles were ok. Had one or two decent jumpscares. Plot had promise but fell flat, story was a mess and confusing. The game is in English, but part of it isn't translated. Sound settings are Abominable. Can barely hear my footsteps, voices are quiet, but the menu sound is far too loud. Gunshots sound louder than a freight train. Monster is disabled. He cannot see you and he probably cant hear you either because the footsteps are too quiet. You can run but there is no stamina bar. When stamina runs out, you stop moving almost completely. If stamina was unlimited, game would be 2x as short. Can break the game by easily climbing and jumping over objects Half the game involves me getting shot, getting shot at, or seeing a dead body that was just shot by a guy that apparently likes to shoot.2 found this helpful
