About Pirate Haven
Description:
Sail the seas as a pirate captain in this challenging roguelike action adventure game! Battle other pirates, search for booty, and upgrade your ship at ports. You can also find ship power-ups and encounter dangerous boss events and storm events.
Can you survive long enough to get a high position on the leaderboards and max out your world level? All exp gained will go towards raising the world level, which will make more interesting events occur and increase the amount of ship upgrades you can get, but beware as the world level increases not only you get the upgraded ships, so does the enemy pirates. The world level will increase how much score and exp you get to make up for the extra challenge and make it easier to position higher on the leaderboards.
Features:
• Weekly and All-time score leaderboards
• Explore a vast procedurally generated world
• Fight other pirates in ship-to-ship combat
• Search for booty
• Upgrade your ship with extra cannons and increase your ships size and destructive power
• Find power-ups to give you an edge in battle such as, speed boosts, accuracy boosts, and shot velocity boosts
• Go fishing and try catch all the fish for achievements
• Manual aiming of cannon shots mechanics, so you have to estimate the flight time yourself and aim in front of other pirates accordingly
Extra Notes:
While we do have partial controller support via steam input and moving the mouse with the right control stick, the game was designed to be played with mouse and keyboard and the mouse makes it much easier to aim effectively.

Fun game! Good to play if you have a few minutes. I'm sure it's even more fun if you're good at it, but I've just started, lol.5 found this helpful
The game is crap and so is the dev. The developer is an idiot who spends his time on Twitter (foremely known as X. HAH) shouting his support for Pauline Hanson and One Nation (an Alt right political party in Australia that CLAIMS to be working for the average Australian but has 0 actual policies and has continously voted AGAINST improving the lives of the average Australian) He also likes to call people R.E.T.A.R.D.S when they don't agree with him and wants One Nation to be in power to "own the lefties" while also not knowing anything about how our political system or ON and Pooline Hanson work. The game itself, as mentioned above, sucks. it's a dumbed down, top down version of Sea Of Thieves and plays far worse. despite how simple it is it's not optomised very well and there's nothing to do. once you get that first bit of treasure, you're supposed to....die? I think? nothing else shows up and the only way you can get more stuff to do is to increase the world level but you have to do that by dying and I'm pretty sure your stats don't carry over. it's very VERY obviously a proof of concept and is nowhere near close to being an actual game, not even an early access. but the game …
I don't know how this game turned up in my library but it's alright. The enemy AI is waaay too smart. You'll be driving in circles shooting endlessly and IF you're lucky, you'll take another ship down. 5/10
