A nice game for the price tag. Has a bit of dave the diver vibe the old zuma games pop into my head when I play this some decent rogue-lite elements the gameloop keeps you engaged beware: In the limited time I’ve played, there hasn’t been much that truly ties into piracy beyond the main character’s backstory. Calling it a pirate game with naval combat feels like a stretch, since that aspect comes across more as flavor than a core focus.

If you like pirate games and roguelites, this game is a must for you. There is a great demo that gives you a look at what this game has to offer. I played this demo and fell in love with the game. The full game has polish and style that I find very pleasing. It is not easy. You will die, but with each death comes the opportunity to give your ship permanent upgrades to take into your next voyage. Below is a video of me playing the first voyage and learning about some of the game systems. https://youtu.be/CIAx6LHqbyc This game is early access but it comes off as better than most completed games. I am excited to see where the team at Ninpo Game Studio takes us for our next voyage. Dig & dive! a very meditative underwater experience both in terms of the art and the music. a pretty pleasant upgrade system with both a run and a save-wide updates. and, of course, some tense water vessel battles - beware Mr. Crab, he's such a douche.
