Build your ship, brave the seas, and feel every choice pay off. The module and grid system makes every run feel genuinely yours, and combat's "easy to learn, hard to master" flow keeps fights tense without ever feeling unfair. The crew system and captain progression give real reasons to keep sailing out. Ship variety and boss fights bring constant surprises, and clutch wins at 1 HP are some of the best gaming moments I've had this year. If you love roguelites with a naval twist, this one's an easy recommend.

I really enjoyed the expedition progression and experimenting with different loadouts. It took me a little while to understand how everything worked, but once I got the hang of it, the game became really fun. There’s a lot of room to customize how you play, from the modules you install on your ship to your crew and captain. Trying different loadouts and seeing how they affect each run is probably what keeps me coming back. There’s definitely still work to do. Some systems could use more depth and polish, and you should expect occasional rough edges and changes since the game is still in Early Access. That said, the core experience is already fun, and it’s a game I genuinely enjoy playing and want to support as it continues to grow. Recommended if you enjoy naval combat, roguelite progression, and gradually building a ship setup that fits your playstyle.

Really fun and surprisingly addictive naval roguelite. Building your ship piece by piece makes every run feel different, and the broadside combat is simple to understand. The progression between captain, crew, and ship upgrades gives you plenty to experiment with without becoming overwhelming. Great concept, satisfying gameplay loop, and a lot of potential. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy roguelites and ship-building games.

Looks way cooler than the demo, even better than day one. Looks like you guys are really putting in effort. As for gameplay, it's challenging, which makes it fun and a bit frustrating. Which I guess it's the whole point. Rinse and repeat until you got enough firepower and sustain. Really hope you guys expand on the game modes, I can definitely see some PvP going on in the future. But good job to the team! keep the updates coming.

I like this game, even if looks simple it can be very challenging regarding the different levels and the enemies. You can fight against pirates, collect treasures while evading storm, protect your base, fight against sub-bosses, exploring sea caves and fight a pirate captain who is waiting for you. Even if the controls are simple, is hard to dominate because the enemies are very accurate at the moment to attack you with diffferent amo. The best part in this game is the dev who is constantly updating this game to offer more content and hotfix to make the experience a lot more enjoyable. Pirate Twist is a hidden gem. We jumped into this on stream and absolutely loved it. There’s already something here that just works, and knowing the game is still being actively developed makes it even more exciting. A huge part of that is the developer. BTG Labs has been incredibly active, listening to feedback and working to make the game better. That matters a LOT for a game at this stage, because you can see the potential and know the person behind it is putting in the work. Is it finished? Nope. Things can and WILL change. But that’s exactly why I’m saying: GET IN THE PLAYTEST!!! Play it. Break it. Give feedback. Be part of making this thing better, because Pirate Twist deserves more eyes on it. Right now, based on what we played, I'm sitting at an 8/10 — with plenty of room for that to change as development continues. Serious two thumbs up from me. Thank you, BTG Labs, for the hidden gem.
