Pixel Robot Hunter is a nice little plattformer with old-school graphics and a good soundrack. It is a game, which is rather very good or bad, something in the middle. While it is sometimes very difficult, it has unlimited lives, so you can play all levels. I mostly give the positive rating, because the game is playable with mouse and keyboard. Very often, plattformers are only playable with gamepad or keyboard alone, here you can use the mouse buttons to shot. I like that very much and that rises the game for me in a positive region. If you have a few bucks to spare, this is not a bad choice. DISCLOUSURE: I got this game directly from the dev through curator connect. I reviewed some other games from him in the past and we talk sometimes a little. Today, i would consider him as a steamfriend. But besides that, i think, i post here my honest opinion of the game.7 found this helpful
Pixel Robot Hunter is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This shovelware platformer is from known asset flipper, Tero Lunkka/Valkaela Software/Repo Games (the guy uses so many alt/shell accounts to try hide his movements, it's tricky to keep an eye on them all). It's a super crap, lazy platformer with a generic sci-fi theme and some of the worst gameplay imaginable... but then this is just another cash grab from an asset flipper, and has no real value or merit as a game for gamers. Tero Lunkka have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Game is pretty cool but can be confusing at times or you wont know how to get past a part, but is still cool game that can be played when you have some time to spare.
