Pixel Survivors : Roguelike

In it's current state i can't recommend this game: - no sfx for most of the attacks which leaves an empty feeling - minimal animation for collecting chests etc - feels like a project for school/uni (bordering on a flash game) There are better variations of this genre for similar prices etc. Perhaps after another 3-6 months of development this could be something similar to vampire survivors (the game is looking like that in this early stage)

- Player diagonal speed is slower, but enemies speed is constant and faster than the player, right from the beginning. - The game arena is boring, just a empty rectangular area. Empty. - Terrible hitboxes. If a mob has one strand of hair in the head, the pixel at the end of the hair will damage you. - There's a lot of basic game design no-no's. - It had 130 updates (I counted them) and STILL not fun.

Not bad.

A fun little survivor-like that’s easy to pick up and surprisingly addictive. The upgrades feel satisfying, there’s enough variety to keep runs interesting, and watching your build slowly turn into complete chaos is easily the best part. It’s a bit rough around the edges, though. Some weapons feel much stronger than others, the menus could be better, and the game doesn’t really do anything new for the genre. Still, it’s a solid choice if you just want something simple, cheap and enjoyable for a few hours.
