Afraid this simply doesn't deserve a positive review I don't understand why the overall review is positive. There is no sense of progression and only roughly an hour and half of game play. Early Access? yes but it's been there for a year now and still the utter lack of progression is still there. Needs more time to bake, personally wish I waited to purchase the game. going back I would read the update logs and wait until I seen some mention of actual gameplay loop instead of just adding more monsters to collect which tbh. Don't do much to the overall gameplay value4 found this helpful
just an early first impression but i really like the style of game and unique monsters so far - surprised more people haven't tried this edit: ok maybe not the game was pretty easy and i dont think theres content after you beat the boss? it sounded like there was another phase but it just reset my run and there's no difficulty settings as far as I can tell...2 found this helpful
Its a really fun game, all I think it needs is more content but the game-play is fun. but it is a beta so I'd expect that. Highly recommend, fun game2 found this helpful
Rough around the edges but overall a fun time! I like the gameplay and the creature designs are really neat :o)1 found this helpful
This Game is Simple. I Beat both zones on my first Run. If you've played pokemon or any game like it, this will be a cake walk... on your first run. Once you've beat it once, you can start raising the difficulty for subsequent runs. harder runs means better rewards. It hurts that the game hasn't been updated in a while, It has potential. I hope it's just slow work at the moment, cause this really is a good concept.
Decent game, but not quite enough content yet. I feel like I experienced everything the game has to offer after 'beating' the first run. It is very much a clone of Pokemon battles for better and worse. I do think this game is recommendable, with the caveat that it also may be something you want to wait until the full release to get a more comprehensive experience. 6.5 / 10 currently, but I see potential of an 8/10 or higher down the line.
