Pixmox General feedback

Positive points:
The soundtrack is truly incredible and gives you a sense of adventure during the matches. The battle feel adds extra action to the classic match-3 style we know, with some battles being quite intense. Overall, the gameplay is really addictive (once you understand how it works). It's very satisfying to strengthen your monster after each match. I'm curious to know if they evolve (edit: I just evolved my bat, so they do evolve :D)
Points that could be improved:
It would be good to have a small tutorial or explanation of the effects of each rune before starting the first match. The player might initially think that all the pieces deal damage, but each one has different effects (damage, defense buff, healing, etc.). It would be good to make these effects clear before starting the first match so the player is aware of what is happening and how to position themselves from then on and build their strategy. The red font on some tutorial screens has little contrast with the background, making it difficult to read. Otherwise, I feel that... This is my honest review. Every journey has a begi…

Pixmox is a cute and surprisingly addictive pixel-art match-3 game. The pet collecting is the main hook for me. There are 100+ pets to discover, and each pet having its own skill makes the battles feel more interesting than a normal match-3 game. It’s simple to pick up, but there’s enough strategy when you start thinking about pet skills and team combos. Cute art, fun battles, and a strong “one more match” feeling. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy pet collecting games.
