Overhated honestly. People should stop thinking of this as a garden warfare entry and more as a standalone PvZ shooter.1 found this helpful

Questionable changes from the original garden warfare franchise, most notably the upgrades system over the variety system in which I have mixed opinions on. besides that this game is pretty solid, sad to see it got no more updates after just less than a year after release. I appreciate them trying something new but I guess people weren't having it and just went back to garden warfare 2. What did they do to Rose?! why does she look like that?
This game is absolutely ass, never in my life have I seen such a downfall of a game series. the ONLY reason I have 11 hours on this game is because I tried to get the game to run on my old laptop which at the time I had high hopes for the game since it had just came out but oh boy was I wrong, honestly might be one of the worst games I have ever played. This game is so bad I would compare it to Back 4 Blood which is just sad. Popcap, EA, what are you doing, get it together and make the Garden Warfare 3 that everyone wants and at this point just remove this game from the store and act like it never existed, even the devs know this game sucks because not even a year after launch they discontinued it. huge waste of my time and money, I would honestly rather write a ten page essay on the current state of the economy than play another minute of this disgrace of a game. I have absolutely no idea how the play testers let this game make it past the beta phase. this series was doomed when EA stepped in line
Max level on PS4 and switch, tried to do the same on pc since the other 2 versions i played since launch and every lobbie is either a bot lobby or with 5-6 max ranks using chomper, citron and brainium bashers, and unlike gw1 where you can still do good against the 2 meta characters the experience is beyond frustrating here. If u are a newcomer to bfn and have the chance stick to the console versions, at least you can find people that aren't max ranks or BOTS (I hate whoever decided that AI backfill was a good idea )
