Pocket Watch is a quietly delightful adventure that exemplifies Sokpop Collective’s talent for crafting small, memorable experiences built on charm, curiosity, and gentle experimentation rather than spectacle or mechanical complexity. Developed and published by Sokpop Collective, the game feels like an interactive short story—one that invites players to slow down, observe, and engage with a world that is playful on the surface but thoughtfully designed beneath. It is not a game driven by challenge or urgency, but by atmosphere, discovery, and the pleasure of piecing together a mystery at your own pace. The premise centers on a time traveler arriving on a tropical island that is on the brink of catastrophe due to an impending volcanic eruption. Early on, a mysterious crow nudges you toward intervening, and from there the game unfolds as a series of small goals, conversations, and environmental interactions. Rather than pushing a heavy narrative through cutscenes or exposition, Pocket Watch allows its story to emerge organically through exploration and dialogue. The looming disaster gives structure to the experience, but it never overwhelms the relaxed tone that defines the game. E…3 found this helpful
well most of my time was spent wandering around without much of a goal, even though i did find items there didn't seem to be anything to do with them, other than the wrench at the start i do certainly love me some time loop stories and it is pretty cool to see the fail screen for the first time, but this story doesn't seem to have a start and after 30 mins and 2 cycles i can't really be bothered to find it considering how much of the gameplay seem to be just about waiting around with a slightly broken fullscreen maybe others can find some more enjoyment out of this small and cheap game but i didn't find much in it1 found this helpful
this was such a journey when on meds im ngl
Cute little game with 'A Short Hike' vibes. I enjoyed the art style and gamplay. The puzzles weren't difficult, but they did make you stop and think for a second, I liked it. It's short and very fun to 100%. Definitly worth the cheap price!
I LOVE THIS GAME!
