Pear Quest is one of those ridiculous conceptual experiments that works well, especially now that they've issued updates. Launching the game you're introduced to a very hard to see menu. Go down to Options, press 'x' to select the menu, and futz around with the Zoom and Full Screen options until you can get a comfortable resolution. At launch it was limited to 2X Zoom but they've upped it to 5X since then. I believe I was one of the people who beat the game using the Windows Magnifier tool, but that was three years ago so I can't quite place how that went. This is a game made using a minimal amount of pixels, where the entire map is made to be displayed on screen at once. It is a cute isometric adventure starring a lost rabbit who navigates an island while solving puzzles. I enjoyed my time with the main story, but I was not enough of a fan of the gameplay to go back and unlock the optional achievements.

Honestly seems like a really cute game that I could have tried to get into, but why is EVERYTHING (especially the font) so small? My eyes are burning after just like 5 minutes of playing, had to quit. This game legitimately seems like it has some heart and a lot of personality, but I'd honestly rather pour vinegar and salt into my eyes. Highly recommended if you want to go blind before the age of 30, squint for an hour or so straight, or simply enjoy reading text made for hamsters/small rodents This could have been cute and fun but now I will never know what happens to the giant pear

That was really good, short and sweet. But where is the ball?

Good fun little game, very hard to read at first but after a while you just tune into the graphics and the tiny text and it's fine. i enjoyed it.

The font IS tiny, it's true, but it's readable with some effort at fullscreen.
