I just can't! Over 300 hours in and I am only 2/3 of the way through. Why is progress slowing down when I am doing everything to speed it up?

Imagine taking the mindless satisfaction of Cookie Clicker and feeding it straight into a poker deck. That's basically Poker Clicker. You click to get dealt a five-card poker hand, watch your numbers go up, buy upgrades, and then do it all over again. Two Pair? Chips. Full House? More chips. Royal Flush? Even more chips. Eventually you're dealing hands faster, stacking multipliers, collecting cards, and watching your numbers climb into increasingly stupid territory. That's pretty much the entire appeal. There's no traditional poker strategy involved here. You aren't bluffing, betting, or deciding whether to fold. You're simply throwing cards onto the table and watching increasingly ridiculous multipliers pile up. It's almost like playing video poker, except you don't get to hold any cards. The perks, runs, Deal Power, and the playing card drops give the progression a little more depth, since the cards you collect in your Steam Inventory can be used to unlock perks and give you permanent bonuses. The core loop, however, remains simple.

No. This game is not good. It is just a simple clicker game with poker scoring for deciding how many coins you get per click. Extremely slow and boring. 0/10. I can't even count cards in this game!

Poker Clicker is a surprisingly addictive little incremental game, and I liked how quickly it turns poker into a simple score chasing loop. Every click deals me a fresh poker hand, and suddenly I am staring at combinations and trying to push my chip total higher. It is a very simple concept, but I found myself wanting to click just one more time to see what hand would come next. The main mechanic is extremely easy to understand. Every deal gives me a new five card hand, and stronger combinations produce better scores. I can then spend my accumulated Deals on upgrades that improve the value of different hands. I liked the way this turns familiar poker combinations into something closer to an arcade scoring system rather than a traditional card game. The upgrade system is where the incremental side becomes more interesting. I can improve the multipliers attached to different hand types and make choices about when to spend my Deals and when to save them for additional power. I enjoyed thinking about whether a short term upgrade would help more than holding onto my resources for a bigger boost later. There are also permanent perks that can be unlocked through collecting specific car…

Be warned this dev is highly unethical, and for his new "game" straight up STOLE my entire concept and idea i dont know how he found everything out from my last 4 months of work, but also stole the name too. "Hacker Clicker" is not his game, it was mine before he stole it.
