About Printersim

Greetings fellow Businessman,
A 60-page bluesky tactics report is needed on my desk within the next two weeks! Use your EasyPrint 3000 to get that report printed, pronto. And if I don't see anything on my desk by then, you can bet your bottom dollar there will be hell to pay.
- Your Boss.
You're a simple businessman, looking after your family and barely getting by. Hopefully, getting that end-of-month report out will give you that promotion you so rightly deserve. Only, your printer keeps running out of ink and your pocket out of money. Surely there must be some way to make ends meet?
With your patience running thin and your possessions vanishing around you, PRINTERSIM is a game about spiraling out of control where nothing is quite as it seems.

Playing this game freshly out of college reminds me how deeply grateful I am to no longer have to print out packets for my classes each week, hoping and praying that the wretched beast of an electronic wouldn't fail on me when I needed it most. 10/10, no other device fills me with a rage deep enough to want to thrash it into pieces like printers, and this game really nails that frustration. As I saw a few others mention, the game play falls somewhere between point-and-click style adventure and rage games, leaning much more to the former. However, it never veers into the territory of "my controller is now living inside of my drywall" levels of rage game. As with any PaC game, paying attention to detail is key for the puzzles, which are rather satisfying. When I play any sort of game like this, I always check every little corner for every bit of flavor text I can find, and Printersim rewards you with fun quips and comments. The game is charming, with a lighthearted but grim sense of humor to it that I found to be incredibly amusing. Also, the game has some great trophies and secrets if you go looking. 10/10 would decimate my printer and then pass out from rage again1 found this helpful
This game gave me flashbacks to the time I worked in a PC pool of a University Law department. I wish could have ____ my "customers".1 found this helpful
Fully simulates a real HP Printer
I'm marking this as "Do not recommend" because Achievements are bugged (I originally thought it was because I was using Linux but still nothing after trying on my laptop, which uses windows 11). Ignoring that, the game is a decent despite being tedious to get all 60 pages printed (most of my play time was just one run where I finished the game on day 1 by selling water). Edit: Changed to recommended since the dev fixed the bugged achievements (quickly I might add). I'm not sure how to get the final achievement, "Welcome Home", because once I beat the game after getting all the achievements ( how to get the achievement from what I have read) and skipping the credits, the game seemed to freeze or something.
an emotional rollercoaster that saw me debating my moral standing for 5 hours
I saw this game on CDawgVA's live stream and it made me giggle with the premise. Once playing, you are hooked on getting the dang report to print. The amount of different things you can do to enable the report to complete and have the money for supplies is vast considering this game doesn't look like it would be so complex. Some things, I couldn't even figure out. You can sell everything, yet there was no way I could find to open the "In Case of Emergency" box, maybe there isn't a way and that is part of the joke, but the completionist in me was highly annoyed. Maybe that is the point of the game...There are four or five endings and some of them are just crazy. I love it and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who has ears to listen. I really can't wait for the developers to release another game to see what surprises they have because this game is genius.
