Project Vesperi

Everyone knows the UN doesn't actually DO anything lol. The upside is that the (short) story isn't terrible and the actual game quality is pretty good. I thought the voice acting was very realistic along with animations and hand/face gestures. But...I'm sorry I just can't recommend this game. I understand it has a low price point, but you can run it in under 2 hours. The whole game is the same chapter repeating 3 times with VERY minimal changes. I just don't see myself ever coming back and running through it again...and I love replaying games.

It’s a shorter experience, but still a fun one overall. The visuals and environments are honestly some of the game’s strongest points. There are a lot of moments where the atmosphere really carries the experience. That said, I do think the game holds back a bit too much when it comes to fully uncovering its mysteries. By the end, it felt like there were still pieces intentionally left vague, which some players might enjoy, but I personally wanted to know way more of this very cool story! Still, I don’t regret playing it. If you’re into atmospheric games with strong presentation and don’t mind a shorter runtime, there’s definitely something here to enjoy.

Just trust me, don't waste your money on this.

Loved the story and the world building! Wished it was a little bit longer but overall a very pleasant experience!! Can't wait to try to get all the other different endings.

I have only played 20 minutes of this game and from what I'm hearing it's a 2 hours game, but I did not like it. It looked right away as an another UE5 low effort game and I have lost enough time on those. Refunded.

The game was ok, really short (novella-sized), I knew that prior to heading in via other reviews. Do not recommend getting at full price, wait till it's on a sale. I understand it's the dev's first game and they're likely after the support, however, it doesn't strike that oompth in my opinion and the price could be a tad cheaper. Concept was cool albeit being predictable, also would have loved to explore Venus more. There's potential, although a lot of improvements could be made. Animations for example, some of them drag out unnecessarily, whereas other moments are fine when emphasising understanding or creating tension. The technical side may benefit from a second look as it crashed when I first tried, however once I updated my graphics card and general computer, it worked, additionally there were instances of jankiness during the cutscenes. Fortunately it settled as I progressed and tweaked a few settings. Good luck to the devs if they decide to expand on it as well any future projects.
