ProjectTeo is a brief 2D dodging game with a lunar lander-style hovering mechanic that some players find conceptually interesting, but it can be completed in under 10 minutes with minimal challenge or content. Common criticisms include poor execution, unbalanced controls, lack of level variety, and feeling more like an incomplete prototype than a finished product, though a few players appreciate the core movement concept despite the overall lack of depth.
ProjectTeo is yet another asset flip/construction kit flip from serial shovelware copy+paste "artists", Dnovel/FreeAnimals_Software. These guys do nothing but rip off asset store assets and game tutorials and templates, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Today's "effort" from these guys is ProjectTeo, and it's a garbage 2D action/dodging game slapped together with the godawful Cocos Creator game construction kit, presumably a copy+paste from someone else's actual work developing a game. As a game, it's terrible, of course. It's just a godwful 2D platformer with the "dark foreground, light background" schtick, locked resolution and console peasant controls. It's not clear why Rybalkin puts console peasant controls on his asset flip shovelware, consoles would never allow this garbage on their appliances. Anyway, this is trash. For that reason, as a "game", this is below acceptable standards, and has no real merit or value as a genuine, sincerely made PC game. Using game construction kits doesn't need any talent or professional game development effort, and results in terrible shovelware like Shots Fired In The Dark Forest. Sligthly interesting concept for the movement, but the execution of it rather poor in most aspects. It took me 6 minutes to beat on first try without much of a challenge. Don't recommend buying
Really enjoyed this. Wish there was more levels though.
Uh no. I beat it in 10 min. The game was probably made in 10 minutes. It's a fine concept of a game, but there just isn't much of anything here worth buying. Even at .99 cents.
Not recommended. This one is pretty simple, but actually kind of addictive. The graphics are basic and the levels are short and lack variety, but the hovering mechanic, like old lunar lander games, is kind of neat. Sadly, this is only a prototype that took less than 10 minutes to complete.
A simple avoidance game that feels either too simple or you suffer of lack of thoughtful controls. Teo the robot squid is barely able to float up. But slides from left to right in doublespeed. And sinking down like an iron anvil. That's the given game mechanics to surf through a labrinth of spinning saw blades. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2874282313
