Quantum of Hope

Good game. The last stage was annoying as the explosive one shot a person. Add an upgrade system for amour that you buy from scrap that can adds to the character permanently. I hope there will be more stages released. I finished everything waiting for more content now. Also the start at last check point do not work so you need to start the stage over if you die.

I once played the demo version, really liked it, and decided to install the full game. The game still has room to grow, but the creator did a great job — he single-handedly crafted an interesting story, characters, graphic models, sound design, and everything else. Overall, the game lived up to expectations and didn’t disappoint after the demo.

Quantum of Hope is a cute twin-stick post apocalypse "clean-em-up" there the player moves through tightly controlled environments pushing back alien infestations with various weapons as you attempt to reach checkpoints. The game has a roguelike approach to the gameplay loop and is designed for quick replay. The cut-scenes do slow down the loop a little, as you need to click through some back and forth radio chatter every time (it would be nice to have an option to skip this more easily). Combat feels good and there are some nice weapons, including drone robots you can instruct to clear areas for you. Overall Quantum of Hope is a nice little game with plenty of potential. It will be good to see how Fetysenko Games develop it moving forward.

[b]Quantum of Hope[/b] is a fairly simple yet addictive top-down shooter with roguelike elements and a great soundtrack. Despite some minor flaws that will likely be fixed since the game is in Early Access, I enjoyed it. Pros: - Excellent soundtrack - Well-designed levels - Balanced difficulty Cons: - Very little content at the moment. I'd like to see more cool weapons, upgrades, levels and other features. Some more game modes, challenges, or a leaderboards. - Poor weapon balance. I played the entire game with automatic rifle, because it's fast and deals good damage. The shotgun is too slow and feels out of place compared to the current speed of enemies. And switching to the foam cannon isn't very convenient, so I didn't use it either. Although it could be useful if it worked as a secondary weapon instead of almost useless shock gun thing. What else I'd like to see: - More interesting weapon upgrades, maybe some modifiers that will change them on a certain level; - More uses for resources. Currently, you can buy a temporary drone, turret, or mine with scrap metal dropped by enemies, but only the turret and drone are really useful — other upgrades are pointless because they …
