Fun game that can be enjoyed in short sessions. Plays great on Steam Deck!3 found this helpful
Nice bullet hellish run'n'gun with both utilitarian and fun powerups. Cool oldsk00l arcade vibe with clear and simple offerings - a well defined experience with no extra shenanigans to distract you. I have a love & hate relationship with the launcher aiming :D SOO frustrating when you miss enemies as it's so slow to fire, but it also makes the stakes higher and has you all tense and cursing in tighter spots :D3 found this helpful
Even for someone unfamiliar with the genre (and who can barely tell left from right) this felt like a solid, well-paced arcade experience. It’s easy to pick up and play, with a difficulty curve that ramps up just right. The gameplay is impressively smooth, especially for an early access title. The top-down perspective occasionally makes it hard to judge terrain height, and a game like this is practically begging for a local multiplayer mode. Still, it plays great solo and holds up well in a home setup, even though it would truly shine on an arcade cabinet.3 found this helpful
