About Quarantine Zombies

28 days ago, you got the call - your brother’s checkpoint had fallen. Now it’s surrounded by the dead. He’s not like you. He’s a scientist, chasing a cure. You’ve spent your life as a cop - fighting, surviving. Now, to save him, you’ll need a reinforced ride and a plan to hand your own checkpoint over to the U.S. Army. You’re the last surviving soldier at the only checkpoint still standing in the north of the city.
Your mission: save as many uninfected civilians as you can. If you let the infected slip out of Chicago, the entire world could fall. Hold the line. Buy more weapons and upgrade your defenses. The Army promises to arrive in 30 days - then comes the raid. You’ll fight your way through the ruins of Chicago to reach your brother… and try to save him at any cost.

Make cold, calculated decisions.

Every survivor has a story - and they’ll tell it to you. But don’t believe everything you hear. Inspect each one carefully and decide their fate.
Will you let them pass? Hold them for a second screening? Or are they too far gone - and need to be eliminated?
The choice is yours.

Gameplay

First-person gameplay that blends inspection sim and zombie action.Screen refugees with a full-body scanner and other tools to detect signs of infection.Decide each refugee’s fate: clear them to leave Chicago, hold them in a quarantine room for observation, or eliminate them.Head out from the base to clear infested zones.Earn cash to buy weapons and repair your car for the toughest raid across a ruined Chicago.

Tools

Use special gear to find out if a survivor is infected or smuggling contraband. Personal inspections, scanners, and a range of devices will help you.
So will a good shotgun.

Zombies

Zombie waves grow stronger by the day. Crawlers, Spitters, Aggressors, Marine Zombies… A good shotgun helps. But not always.

Preparing for the Raid

Repair your car and get it ready for the brutal run through Chicago to your brother’s checkpoint.
Save him—no matter the cost.

this is garbage, just get Quarantine Zone if that's the game type your looking for.

Recent patches has really improved performance. And i don't think they use any stolen assets from Quarantine Zone, just mimicking gameplay while including other gameplay Quarantine Zone does not have. Feels more like a unofficial expansion than a rip off.

No controller support at all. 0/10. Edit: I refunded this game long ago but when I saw that the devs were actually trying to make it better I got it again. It has controller support now, but there's another problem. When I tried to change my settings it said that I had buttons unassigned and it couldn't save my changes. All of my buttons were assigned though. I can't even change the button layout in my settings. My changes to my settings for everything can't be changed now because the changes literally won't save no matter what I try. I want to like this game, but if I can't play it then my hands are tied.

This game is a clone of Quarantine Zone, That being said its not a bad one. on sale at 75% its worth the play. I didn't get many bugs my first few plays. shooting zombies in the head most times needed few hits so that was bit annoying. and the respawn of zombies outside was also bit annoying at times. trophies were kinda lame as most were just doing nonsense things like opening doors and lowering the stairs. kinda dumb but i could see them adding more to this game just dont think they will. i was born in Chicago and spent most my life in the city so was kinda neat of a back story in the game. id let my brothers die though since they are POS in real life.

It's okay. To be honest, for about 4 hours I was really enjoying the loop. I don't think it deserves all the very negative reviews. The raids were fun. The building the car created a sense of progressions. However, issues started to rise. - I don't think the actually checking procedure is very good. Unless there's a bite, it's often hard to make a definitive judgement, even with all the tools. - Intuition sometimes points out things I can't even find, such as marks on the body. - Send to quarantine, but they never seem to change, so still can't make a proper judgement. - Lack of variety - early days have clearing the swamp and heading to my brother's location. But then 22 days when no additional missions appear - Driving the car - slow! Any when you get out becomes quite unmanageable. For anyone playing on steam deck - drop some settings to low. It seemed to run great, but turning took forever. Once I lowered setting slightly, turning/moving was much smoother. It was fine at 50% in sale
