The game mechanics are kind buggy, the dash sometimes doesnt work, the bubble sends you flying into something else that can kill you and the special dash that you get after the hard parkour(with no checkpoints) most of the time still makes you take damage, the first 3 bosses are the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss just different color and the secret boss i just WAY to long for that little attacks 5/101 found this helpful
I played through this two times with 100% and it was really fun but the first 3 bosses are a bit boring bc they are just recoloured versions of each other. The secret boss was the best boss but it had a bit to much HP. The bubble item was only really useful for boss fights bc it would just put you in spikes most of the time. The music was good.
Fun short game
Despite being such a short game, Quarion genuinely uses its time and space extremely well! If you're looking for a quirky metroidvania type game without sinking a whole lot of time into it, this game fits the bill quite well. my only 2 complaints are that I wish it was longer.. and also most of the bosses are the exact same.
Pleasant, well-executed Microvania. I'm always a sucker for games that are short and sweet, and this game deserves way more attention for the amount of care given, and the low price tag. The platforming is tough, but fair. The bosses are challenging, though they feel a little repetitive, since most of them are the same attack patterns but quicker. This game feels like it took a lot of good inspiration from Celeste in both the platforming and amount of health given. I was often hoping to have more health, but It's a fair challenge, and a surprise from this game that wasn't even on my radar. Highly recommended for anyone who likes difficult platformers.
What a great game for a low price! Plus the music is rockin!
