About Escape Zolstar
Escape Zolstar is a metroidvania where you explore, collect powerups, fight enemies, and defeat bosses. You can play with either a keyboard or a controller and can also change controller mappings. The game is broken up into many smaller connected rooms, and progress can be seen on the map. There are multiple powerups to collect, such as water shot, double jump, and extra health. There are six bosses to fight and a variety of other enemies and obstacles. There are also three different sections with their own appearance, music, enemies, and bosses. Not bad, although I liked the devs other neon wireframe games better. This one seemed a lot harder too.3 found this helpful
This is a narrowly positive rec. It's minimalist in the style of Trash Quest. Like that game, some of the platforming borders on precision platforming. The music loop gets repetitive. I put it down before finishing but it sounds like it is 3 hours long. I felt pretty take it or leave it with this game, it's competent and cheap though.2 found this helpful

Just like the other two Zolstar games, this one hits the spot. You can finish it in one sitting and it feels satisfying.
