About Quarta Amethyst
As Quarta Amethyst, the strongest knight in the Quarta Order, battling Olicts is your responsibility. When you discover that they've set up a den in a forest near a settlement, it's time for you to take action.
What's behind the Olicts' increasing activity? What are their plans? Most importantly, can you put a stop to them without falling for their fiendish traps?
Play as a near-invulnerable magical knight in this turn-based RPG where it's the debuffs, not the damage, that pose the real threat. You'll have to explore multiple dungeons, do battle with the evil Olicts, and avoid their devious array of debuffs if you want to get to the bottom of their plans.
Invincible... Until You're Not
In this turn-based RPG, you play as a near-invincible Quarta Knight, mowing down enemies with the greatest of ease. Unfortunately for you, the Olicts know your weakness: debuffs. When you're loaded down with enough of them, it becomes a struggle to even survive.
Turn the Tables
Even when the situation looks bleak, you have powerful options at your disposal. Escaping from a crisis is almost always possible, so long as you use your abilities wisely.
Traps and Ambushes Galore
The Olicts know that fighting you head-on is unwise, so they've prepared a plethora of devious traps to try to catch you off-guard. Can you see through their schemes, or will you brute-force your way through their dens?
Varied Environments
As you explore the game's dungeons, you'll see several visually distinct environments to delve into, each with its own unique Olict denizens to keep you on your toes.
What Steam players say

(Ignore playtime, I've purchased and played before) I'm a huge fan of this gameplay style of trying to keep the character pure while falling victim to game mechanics. The caveat is that you can corrupt the character to the point of no return and nearly soft locking progress. There's ways to recover from effects and keep going, but for anyone trying to see all the content they'll find their characters stats get worse and worse. Personally I love this, but looking at the reviews being mixed I can understand why some people think the game is too hard or tedious. I hope the mixed reviews don't stop Quarta Emerald from getting an official ENG release on steam in the future.2 found this helpful

an excellent part of the Quarta series, very dynamic combat like usual as well as an engaging and (mostly) well paced storyline. really vibing with the "villain" in this one. make sure you check out the dev elsewhere as well while we wait for Kagura to translate and release more from Kudarizaka <31 found this helpful
traditional japanese eroge. it has my fetish, and also the worst gameplay i have seen in my life.
If you like debuffs, this is the game for you.
