About Queen's Cards

Queen's Cards is a satisfying roguelike deck-building defense game where you defend your territory using passive and active cards.Gameplay Styles
While playing Queen's Cards, you can choose your preferred playstyle. You can strengthen your economy to plan ahead, rely on your soldiers to build your deck accordingly, prioritize tower defense, or focus more on spells.Deck Building
Queen's Cards gives you 3 cards at the end of each wave. Additionally, a store screen opens. The cards in the store are updated after each turn. Here, you select passive cards to determine your playstyle and unlock permanent buffs. By combining these permanent buffs, you can deal incredibly satisfying damage.Building Your Territory
Building towers and structures in your territory is a great way to defend. The game provides you with specific areas to build, and you strategically decide which builds to create in these areas.Tower Enhancements
Some of the towers you build have skill trees. This allows you to grant unique skills to those towers. Additionally, with your passive card deck, you can equip towers with amazing skills and combos.Economy Management
To take advantage of opportunities in the store at the end of each turn and to draw or destroy cards when you're struggling during the game, you'll need plenty of gold. Therefore, managing your economy is crucial.

it has an incredible potential but really rough around the edges right now. a lot of qol is missing, there are some questionable design choices, some towers are way better than the others and the enemy scaling is off the charts. also, i guess the skills don't work since they deal literally zero damage. it may be because i used them in later stages. even though i've counted lot of negative things, it's still a fun little game. i guess i'll keep it and play every now and then.

I was not too impressed with the initial demo when it was first released. However, before I got round to deleting the demo I decided to do a check on subsequent updates (if any). More than pleasantly surprised with the number of updates and their quality. We now have a pretty good Tower Defense title with the promise of more to come. Plenty to think about and strategise. Glad I waited!!

Even though it is in early access i think it is the best among the tower defense games, it is a game with a lot of potential

A very bare bones tower defense with a lot of small errors at the time of playing. The gameplay isn't particularly enthralling as there was little to no difficulty, towers quickly spiral out of control with buffs applied to them that last forever, and the optimization on special effects is quite poor as my game would drop from 144 fps to about 60 during waves in the low 20's from the fire and explosion effects going on. This is not a 1.0 project, this still needs time to cook. It's cheap so I can't fault it on that account but, ultimately, I'm not seeing much that I want to actually spend my time on with this one.

The game combines card mechanics with a simple tower defense concept. You build towers using cards to stop monsters that move along a fixed path. There are different cards for soldiers, towers, and tower upgrades, which adds a layer of strategy without being too complex. Overall, it offers a straightforward and enjoyable gameplay experience for players who like tactical card-based games.
