It's a time waster that doesn't require any thought and you can play while watching TV without any mental effort, but I have a couple of reservations about this upgraded version of the game. The old version had way more variety and you had way more flexibility in building your garden. There's almost no flexibility in this version. You're given 3 choices each time you have enough money to buy a new element, but they're all very similar. And you can't buy anything but what is being offered for that level. There are no menus of flowers and trees and bushes and benches and fountains to choose from like there used to be. That takes all the fun out of the game. There are also no mini-games that you could play to rapidly ramp up your cash reserves like in the old game. This means that it can take a long time to reach your required cash levels before you can buy the next item. NOT an improvement on the old game, but it's mindless and kills time so I will just barely recommend it. If you're expecting the good old Queen's Garden, though, be warned. This is not it.1 found this helpful
