Queen's Glory

honestly disappointed. cant remember when i bought this but just turned it on, and was immediately turned off, especially because i play a lot of games of this nature. it feels like someone first hgame, and thats saying something becuase during my courses in game development in college, i had to make a game of similar quality. since im well passed the return period, and i dont usually do reviews, just take my word for it, not worth your time or money, even if its on sale. most of the games i buy from dlsite, but under many circumstances i will buy them on this steam account, since a lot of games on dlsite dont get translations. TL:DR use that $5-10 on a different hgame. playmeow games are great, with this one exception.

Better than paradox interactive games

It's probably not impossible to enjoy this game, it's just highly improbable, because it pins you down, leaves you with little to no agency in so many ways, and what it does pin you to has surely got to be so unappealing. It's written form the first person perspective of the female protagonist, so you've got to identify with that, being a submissive female princess. Then most choices are false choices, where there is little to no information as to where any margin for choices exist, this means its just all guess work, and so not a choice at all. The male protagonists are detailed, often with bizzare characteristic choices, so there is a good chance they will instead of adding to appeal, they are as likely to detract, which they do. Then we get to the actual depictions including of the main character, which are just poor. This games design choices are just unfathomable. Not fun.

Fun satisfying game.

I unfortunately failed at this game completely and only made it through year one before losing my kingdom, but it was entertaining and interesting even though I lost everything. I'll try again to beat it.

Unfortunately, I forgot to refund it, and now I'm stuck with Queen's Glory in my library. Why refund, you ask? Because it's just a boring VN game that has almost nothing to do with strategy and/or simulation. I was expecting something more than "Choose between option A, B, C, D." but there's none, so you feel like you're just playing your average visual novel. Next, the English translation is bad. The word for man's private parts is translated as "meat stick" or something like that, and it's repeated over and over again. Like, why? And as for the CGs, I'm sorry, but some of them definitely make you think that they were created just by imagining what a woman's anatomy looks like. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of things in these hentai games that don't apply to the real world, but some pictures in there are just badly drawn. Similar to those intentionally drawn bad/parody erotic art, but I get the feeling that wasn't the case here. I got it during a sale and still regret it. I have a few more titles from this publisher/developer but if the rest is of the same quality then I'm not sure if I ever want to buy them, especially if you compare the art it looks very similar in oth…
