Old school arcade style game. Very well done, but expect some pretty punitive gameplay!

Fun adventure game. Easy to play it, direct to the point, really quick with a great replay factor. I just love these type of games that are just... games. No big brain lore, no boring tutorials, just a dude going to the right direction and slashing some bad guys on the way. A game to have fun at the very moment you start it. It's really quick, it's super cheap, go for it. It's a nice game to chill out.

Another smaller project from Sylph, this time an experiment of roguelite elements on a platformer that feels out of a Master System. There is a lot of [b]Wonder Boy[/b] in here, although the look and stance of the protagonist reminds me of the sprites of the earliest [b]Final Fantasy[/b] games. True to the title, a full run from the beginning to the final boss takes 15~20 minutes, with very brief levels between a boss battle and the next, and a small selection of energy recharges, swords and helmets at regular intervals. Boss battles are played in a way almost akin to a VS fighting game, as during them the player always faces the bosses and retreats if moving back, changing direction only if they jump past them. The game starts easy and doesn't become hard, no fast ones pulled like with [b]Thrill Penguin[/b], although a harder difficulty is unlockable. The bosses telegraph their moves a lot but they are no less fun to fight against, as the best strategy lies in being relentless every instant they're open. Very fun game to put on once in a while and play a few runs

A fun little NES inspired adventure. The movement feels quite good, and the bosses are fun to beat. It has a pretty difficult hard mode for those who want a classic challenge.

Not a ton of time invested but beat the game twice and loved it for what it was.
