About Quinn & Flynn
Our story starts with Quinn, a detective embroiled in the case of a serial thief to the point of manic obsession. This is only sidetracked by his romantic flings with Flynn, finding every moment of his life not committed to catching a criminal, instead to pursuing a poet. But, the case spirals rapidly out of his hands, leading to ramifications for his lover, his ex, the precinct, and possibly the entire capital.
Between chapters, we alternate between all three perspectives of Quinn, Elias, and Flynn. Each bringing their own twists to the how, when, and why they love to hate each other so much.
In Quinn & Flynn, you always have the option to click through dialogue choices. If you don't like any options presented to you in a conversation, you can always choose to say nothing at all. In fact, holding back might present more opportunities.
Resolve the world's worst love triangle with one of four possible pairings for the eternally-frazzled detective. The fate of the capital, however, seems to have a sole destiny no matter where your passions lie.
Quinn & Flynn is a mature visual novel that features scenes and depiction of police brutality and sexual violence. It's not a game intended for minors.

I was expecting just a romance-focused visual novel, but I was positively surprised by a captivating story with great displays of real world problems and well-written characters. That being said, A.C.A.B.5 found this helpful
Rather excellent. Very focused writing, and all chapters have a gripping drama to them. Scenes have that lovely elastic snap to them that comes from a writer who understands the importance of pacing. Couldn't put it down!4 found this helpful
What a delight to encounter VN full of the deft touches and craft of a writer who is not only skilled, but specifically experienced in creating interactive fiction. The pacing of this game is fantastic! The writing and the way each sentence continues upwards in typewriter format made me glued to the screen the whole time! A very well written noir BL narrative! I deeply enjoyed it. I will say while i admire and appreciate the themes of shifting ones views on the world and fighting systemic injustice, I can't help but find it very unbelievable how quickly the two police characters changed their beliefs. I understand this is a short narrative so I won't fault the writer, but in terms of my preference for stories of growth and learning it felt very sudden and unrealistic to see how the characters perspectives were so easily changed. I also am not a fan of how murky and unclear all 3 characters consequences were for how they've harmed each other and how they potentially 'forgave' one another or not. Just felt like the weight of some of these actions was very easily brushed off. These personal narrative qualms aside this is definitely worth the price and I still thoroughly enjoyed the experience!3 found this helpful
