I like others in this genre but this one just.... isn't it

This is an extremely unique game and I think the developers are honing a craft that gives me hope for the future of indie titles. With AI content on the rise, we really need to relish in these games that AI couldn't even hope to create. As much as it can seem clunky at times, I appreciate the unique style of this game and would recommend it to anyone looking for something they've never seen or played before.

This game was a confusing mix of emotions, where at some points, I really enjoyed it. At others, though, it seemed laughably questionable in writing choices. Game play was pretty standard, and it felt or was mostly a walking-sim. The story I found cute in a 'I think this is a fun indie project, and I'd love to see them put some serious dedication into a better story', but unfortunately it didn't really feel very conclusive. If steam had an option between 'yes, I recommend it', and 'no, I don't recommend it', I'd choose that one. Unfortunately, since it doesn't, I can't give a positive review. Namely because if I give all indie games a good review, some pretty bad ones will end up on top (not that they already don't). In a more constructive note: I'd recommend working on your team's (or your) writing skills from a story aspect. It felt very loose and confusing, while also somehow being 'hand-holdy' through cut-scenes. It all felt like a lot of talent, but used in a confusing way. I'd also add that the animations felt a little stiff for most things, honestly. Ultimately, keep doing what you're doing, and don't let my review discourage you. A tiny experience and a big story. I quite liked the story and the gamplay was okay, i wish Quintus wouldmove faster since he is a mouse, that and the maps being huge empty places makes the game a lot more slower

The "technical" events are triggered randomly for me. Restarting the game 3 times gave different results each time, so the game is unplayable for me :-( I'm stuck on the 1st level without being able to do anything relevant. The achievements seem to be broken too. So I can't recommend the game in its current state. Sorry for little Quintus, this game looked nice. For me it's "Quintus and the Absent Game".
