A short and fun boss-rush game, with a hand-painted art-style and decent combat. It's quite challenging as you die in 1 hit, so you need to memorize all attacks and need to time your dodges, but you always spawn close to the boss, so it's just a matter of patience until you defeat all 5 bosses.2 found this helpful

Cool and super fun soulslike for only £0.89!? The boss fights are hard yet VERY rewarding to defeat. The sword and crit mechanics felt super responsive and great. And the art style is 10/10 amazing job. It reminds a lot of franbow. One issue I do have is with the achievement Daughter of the Rain. I had to beat the game multiple times resetting every run and somehow on the 10th-ish time I was finally able to get it. idk if its a bug or I did the bosses in the wrong order I highly recommend this game
A really good and fun boss-rush game
I don't want to thumbs this down because it's £0.89 and really for a game that cheap it feels wrong to say 'don't buy it'. The graphics are nice, the music is good, when the combat works it does feel awesome, and I like boss rush games. This game's fairly old and underappreciated so if you're here you probably are the kind of person that would want to play it. However... god the combat is annoying. You get a dash with invulnerability but so many of the bosses hitboxes last way longer than the invuln to the point you will often dash through an attack and straight into it because you collided with the boss and got hit with the backswing. That's plainly not fun, especially in a one-hit game. There's almost no cues other than visual, and you get very little time to react, which is compounded by the fact your attacks have a little timing minigame that ALSO has no sound cue, so you have to pay attention to the bar rather than the boss. You can get the rhythm down eventually but you better not get too into it otherwise the small but noticeable animation lock will get you. Some bosses can throw out multiple attacks simultaneously which can lead to overlapping attacks that have such a smal…
Pretty terrible. If you want to play something like this that's actually good, try Eldest Souls.
