About Rayon Riddles - Rise of the Goblin King
The Goblins have been driven out of their homeland by man, chased through the mines by the Dwarfs and enslaved by the Orcs. Tech, Heavy, Tiny and of course the formidable King Hung Ree embark on a journey home – but before they can set out, Tech first needs to escape from his Orc prison and then round up the rest of the group. Only by joining forces will they manage to cross the territory of the Orcs. Along the way, they'll encounter all kinds of obstacles and puzzles that they'll only be able to overcome together.
Tech: He is the nerd and genius of the group. Give him a plan and some materials and he'll build a helicopter out of bubble gum and a chicken.
Heavy: There's nothing that Heavy can't move – apart from King...
Tiny: He is small, inconspicuous and can get into everywhere. He's even supposed to have broken into King's pantry once.
King Hung Ree: He is the chief of the Goblins and the crown of creation. Surely, he's also good for something – at least the other Goblins hope so…

It's a charming and amusing game, akin to the old Gobliiins series but in 3D. Unfortunately, the levels are individually long (easily needing 1+ hour,) and no saving is either allowed or automated. If you quit mid-level, you'll have to restart from scratch. The lazy amateurs who coded that think their botch is surmountable by players with mountains of free time; they put the burden on us. But as usual Murphy couldn't miss the chance to rush in and enforce its law: the game systematically freezes at the same point far into a level, and several retries lead to the same result. Way too deep into the level to waste time looking for workarounds that probably don't exist. Game over forced by game-breaking bug. They'd rather discount it than fix it.12 found this helpful
"Rayon Riddles - Rise of the Goblin King" is an older game from 2016. It's a venerable 9 years old at the time of this review. It was a dismal failure. The idea was to make a third person puzzle adventure game where you control a bunch of goblins and use unique abilities from each one to solve various puzzles (like the strong goblin can pick up heavy things, and the software tester goblin can find bugs in software... oh wait these guys never found out about software testing). One important note is that even though this is an amateur project, it does seem to be sincerely and genuinely made. I couldn't find any flipped assets, plagiarism or any other kind of insincere actions from the developer, but unfortunately genuine intentions alone are not enough to produce a brilliant PC gaming experience. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. From my experience with the game, it's somewhat bug riddled and has design/implementation/stability problems that will render this unplayable for many gamers. The game crashes constantly, and I mean constantly. Change the game resolution? Crash to desktop. Start th…2 found this helpful
Rayon Riddle is a third-person adventure puzzle game in which you play as various goblin characters. The setting and art style are quite good. The music, sound and voice-over are also brilliant. There are nine levels. You will have to do a series of fetch quests and craft the necessary items to pass through each level. Puzzles are sometimes easy and sometimes won't make any sense at all. Maybe that's the point of this game. You will encounter so much weird humour. The only thing that frustrated me was bugs. I encountered a few level progressing bugs in some levels. After respawning, a character got stuck in the walking animation, so I had to restart that level every time. Two to three achievements are also glitched. So, one has to play a particular level again to get the relative achievements. I couldn't unlock the completion achievement for the last level. I tried it twice or thrice, but had no luck. Then I switched to my other system. But, the cloud save is not working with this game somehow. So, I played the entire game again to get that last achievement. Apart from that, I enjoyed my time with the game. If you can ignore some glitches, you may have some fun with this o…2 found this helpful
Rayon Riddles – Rise of the Goblin King is a fantasy puzzle-adventure game developed and published by Lost The Game Studios that combines exploration, character-based problem solving, and lighthearted storytelling. Set in a whimsical fantasy world populated by goblins, trolls, and orcs, the game follows a small group of goblins attempting to escape captivity and return to their homeland. The narrative begins with the goblins imprisoned in a harsh labor camp run by hostile orc overseers. Through a series of clever escapes and improvised plans, the group sets out on a journey toward freedom while navigating dangerous environments and solving puzzles that block their path. Although the story itself is relatively simple, it provides a playful framework for the game’s puzzle-driven gameplay and character interactions. The adventure unfolds through several chapters that gradually introduce new locations and challenges. As the goblins move beyond their prison camp, they must explore caves, forests, and enemy-controlled territories while avoiding threats and discovering ways to continue their journey. Along the way, players learn more about the personalities of the goblin characters and t…
Not fun and very unpolished
Why does this open my Oculus app? and i got stuck in a wooden plank a few minutes into the game had to restart (it was when i grabbed a "item" that looked like a piece of paper)..then in the next level i got stuck in the bridge from throwing and picking up the chicken..if you can look past getting stuck occasionally this game is actually kinda fun
