This is a game for those who are not afraid of a challenge! Each character carries their own memory fragments. Collect them to unlock hidden character exclusive cards and further strengthen your strategies. Re:Night is a tactical roguelike deckbuilder with deep build variety built around an elemental synergy system where players control three characters with separate decks and health pools. Players consistently praise the engaging mechanics, diverse content, quality-of-life features like undo functions, and clever progression system, though some find the tactical movement system tedious and repetitive after extended play. Most players who enjoy roguelike deckbuilders recommend trying it to see if the gameplay loop resonates with them.

In the month since I purchased Re:Night, I've played it more than 70 hours. For me, that's a sign of a good game. Part of the game's appeal comes from the elemental system, which allows players to deal extra damage if they use an elemental attack against an enemy that was previously hit with the element that attack is strong against. With enough setup, this can lead to satisfyingly high damage numbers. It also has the side effect of changing which cards will help each character excel from run to run. In a run with the grass-dealing Farmer and the fire-themed Hunter, the Farmer needs to prioritize cards that will stack grass on the enemy so the Hunter can burn it down. But replace the Farmer with the water-themed Ninja, and the Hunter moves into the support role, favoring fast, low-damage attacks that stack Fire so the Ninja can extinguish it. Deckbuilding is not the game's only appeal. The small battlefields, limited movement ranges and potentially devastating elemental interactions can make positioning extremely important in some battles, especially at the higher difficulties. While players always need a decent deck, the right moves can sometimes turn certain defeat into a hard…

Tactical rogue-like game, 6 characters are having their own features and you need to pick 3 for a run, once you build nicely then may grab the VICTORY! And there was a undo function inside the game, you may undo your moves if make some mistakes instead of losing everything 這是一款策略型Rogue-like遊戲,6個角色各具特色而你需要從中挑選3個角色進行每一次輪迴,只要你合理搭配,就能爽快的贏得勝利! 遊戲還設有悔棋功能,如果你犯了某些錯誤,可以回溯並嘗試其他行動而非直接滿盤皆輸。

Fun game! It is a rogueLIKE (it doesn't have meta upgrades that make you stronger between runs) It has a good variety of monsters, heroes, 'relics' and builds. New things to unlocks as you play. It has good quality of life features e.g. a good tutorial. also you can undo moves, turns or entire battles (with the same rng settings) Also the puzzles to unlock even more new items are interesting (there are hints and walkthroughs if you need them) Cards are all clearly explained and act as you expect. i've not seen any weird or buggy interactions. Fights can be challenging but not unbalanced if you know how to build your deck properly. And it has a difficulty 'ascension' feature if you want to increase the challenge. Recommended if you like roguelike deckbuilders.

Super fun with a clever way of teaching new mechanics when new cards are introduced.

While the game does give a new take on the card based rougelike genre with using 3 characters you control each with there own deck and health the game gets boring after some time as the tactic movement system gets annoying a feels tact on and slow, might be worth a try to see if you like it but can not recommend it.
