About Ready, Steady, Ship!

Keep the line moving! Chaotically assemble the most efficient conveyor belts to keep the goods flowing out of the factory! Use various tools and equipment to overcome the ever-increasing challenges and goods the factory throws at you. Best played in 2-player couch coop but also supports single-player.

Your job is simple - rebuild the conveyor belts and get the goods flowing out of the factory. As you progress you’ll be given all manner of tools, equipment, and conveyor parts to overcome obstacles. Forklifts, cranes, springboard conveyor belts, packing foam dispensers, the list goes on and on! So put on your thinking hard hats and start piecing together the puzzle.

Whoever designed this factory really needs to get their head examined. From acid pools, space vacuums to rooftop gaps to clear, or just outright chaos on the floor. As you progress, the factory will throw tougher challenges at you with more and more complex conveyor belt builds to figure out.

Grab a buddy and get this line moving double time! Work together, communicate, and juggle tasks frantically. NOTE: This game supports local couch co-op and Steam Remote Play Together only; there is no online multiplayer mode. The game can be played in single-player, but it is recommended to play with one other person.

Ready, Steady, Ship! is built around responsive yet simple controls, so almost anyone can quickly and easily join the fun.

The game's sort of alright, but doesn't really have anything going on for it, at large a vague impression of the subgenre with a sprinkle of varying difficulty introduced by everything being physics-based. And I don't think Just Adding Online Multiplayer would save it either. But at least you could show what the par times for levels are if the game's going to judge the player for not beating the levels "fast enough".

Multiplayer party mode is jank. 2 out of the 3 mini games played ended up getting stuck because a box ended up in a spot that it couldn't recover.

Not Recommended for a party or simple coop option The game does provide some new mechanism like tow trucks and other new gameplays but the foundation of the game works poorly. The game has lots of bugs and those bugs affects even simple things like walking or camera moving, leave alone those causing characters stuck in wall or distortion. Plus, the game introduces new unplayable mechanism like the hook on tow trucks, which is unacceptable for its flying momentum motion being not able to control totally, and player could simply throw the cargo to circumvent this new mechanism entirely to complete the scenario goal. These just feature that the design team has not playtested through the game, frustrating. 5/10

It definitely is fun for some time, coop a bit more than in singleplayer. But fighting against the physics, controls or random conveyor issues creates massive hits against continuing to play. Having some more weeks of polishing could've greatly reduced some of those and improved the overall fun vibes. Found the following unordered annoying little things, that combined together barely stopped me continuing to play the game (in story mode): ● crane controls were most annoying, why are there two completely different control schemes?! And still both fail and lead to flying boxes when there is a row on a conveyor waiting and you take one of the first few. This pile up mechanics is often used and only works well in theory. ● conveyor 90 degree turns lead to boxes not moving into the center afterwards, even just a tiny bit of additional force towards the middle (or shrinking the force-applying physics collider on the sides) will reduce that werid behavior. ● Sometimes the jump pads apply very little force, seems odd and is annoying when it happens. ● some boxes never seem to break, others are way too fragile, this feels random. ● graphics glitch for open boxes, maybe some mesh…

I had high hopes for this title. Both me and my wife love to play couch co-op games. We squeezed every trophy from Overcooked or Moving Out, but this game broke us. It is just so buggy, so badly designed that brings constant frustration rather than joy. Save yourselves, avoid this game. It looks fine, but gameplay-wise the game is just bad, and gets worse with every level. Very dissapointed.

100% Ready, Steady, Ship! on 8/23/2024. My wife and I just fully beat this game. Described as an "Amazon Warehouse Simulator", the game is a cooperative game where you ship (sometimes packing first) boxes. Using conveyor belts, fans, and launchers you must pack, sort and ship the boxes. The fork lifts and cranes are the worst though!
